Speaker 2 (00:22):
She's off, She'll be back soon.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Twenty degrees in Adelaide Today.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Exes, I need your opinion on this because I don't
have a whole lot of ex girlfriends in my life
because I've been with my wife. I've been my wife
for a long time. We been married for just over
two years, but before that, we were together for like
ten years. So the ex girlfriend I'm about to talk
about was like the end of high school when I
was just sort of eighteen years old. Okay, was she
your first love? Yeahs yourself? She was second love?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Very good?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Thank you, very good. So Maddie is her name. I
need to know your feelings about this. Maddie came round
to my house last weekend. Most recent love. Yeah, she
came round to my house last weekend to drop off
some old clothes of mine of mine that she has

(01:19):
had at her mum and dad's house where she no
longer lives. For the last seventeen years.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
She's lying.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
They haven't been at mum and Dad's house.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
They have been under her pillow and she's been the
Max Goodness daily for seventeen years.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
So I got a message from Maddie halfway through last
week and it was a picture message, and I was like,
what is it? Opened it up. Okay, it's not that
sort of picture. It's a picture of an old jumper
of mine. And I was like, I have not seen
that thing since two thousand and nine. She said, yeah,
we're cleaning up mum and Dad's house. They're moving out.
Used to come here all the time. Turns out there's

(01:54):
a bunch of your stuff still here. So she has
said do you want you jumper back? And I was
like that one, No, I don't want that one back. Okay.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
So this is a black and white faded helm's toothprint
here it is.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
I do have it here because she did bring it back.
Jean's West, Jean's West, David Jones, zip ut Puddy. Absolutely disgusting,
but a sign of the times in two thousand and
ninth height of fashion. I said, no, I don't need
that one back, you can throw it out. She sent
me another message the next day.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Desperate, desperate to find a way to reconnect.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Deep in the wardrobe at this point with one, I
was like, no, I would actually like that one back
because it was like a representative sports jumper that I
did earn back in the school sport Maxie snow skiing.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Oh how relatable.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
I didn't offer that at Blackwood High I was very
lucky my parents took me there. That was our holiday
that we went on every year and we raced once
for South Australia and this was my South Australian jumper
Australia is Look, I'm not going to be ashamed of
being good at something, and I was the thirtieth best
in the country. You were wearing that at what age
I wore this? This is two thousand and five, So

(02:58):
I wore this one. I was thirteen fourteen, thirteen years old.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Does it fit seal?

Speaker 1 (03:03):
No, it doesn't want to. I wanted it back because
it is like, it's the highest I've ever represented in
spore ever, and I wanted to be able to like
give that to whatever child I I put it to.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
You. You wanted to have that back because you wanted
to see Maddie again.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
So Maddie. I'm still I still like Maddie. We didn't
have a break up like everyone else seems to have
these days. Maybe it's because we were eighteen at the time.
She came round, but she was like, mom's in the car.
I was like, Sophie, I haven't seen Sophie for seventeen years.
Get her in. So Sophie came in, and her brother
Will was in the car as well, and Will came inside.
So the three of it, the four of us sat

(03:40):
around the coffee tap. We had a tour at the house.
I showed them, show them the bedroom.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
What Maddie's mom's got.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
To go in that she does. Sophie is an absolutely angel.
She's just retired. Congrats and your retirement. So they all
came over and I wanted to know that's pretty dorm
all right, No, it's not normal.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Okay, So the jumper doesn't fit you anymore, anyone else
in the family wearing it.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
My wife can now wear that jump. It will fit
my wife.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
It's probably still got a bit of Maddie's DNA on
there if she wore at home on a walk of shame.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
The jumper that your ex had for seventeen years is
now going to be a jumper that your wife wears.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Weird, weird, creepy, weird shit. Just wash it. I think
that it's weird that people don't have normal relationships with
a lot of their exes.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
I think you're emotionally stunted.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
That feels very offensive. It's like quite high brow offense.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
So Maddie took Max's clothes and then seventeen years later
return them. What did you take after the breakup?

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Okay, have you got something stuck at your house from
a breakup?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
What?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
What are you laughing at?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Mate?

Speaker 4 (04:45):
I just feel like I've wounded you and I feel bad.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
I'm okay, I'm quite comfortable with my relationship with my
ex girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Thirteen one oh two three two hundred dollars service voucher
from Automasses up for grabs for your calls today.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
What did you take after or got taken from you
after the breakup?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
On mix at the moment talking about what did you
take after the breakup? Or what was taken from you
after the breakup? Because my very long long ago ex girlfriend,
Maddie came round to my house last week and she
dropped off two jumpers that she found while they were
cleaning it, cleaning out mum and Dad's house. He's getting
Stumbley's nervous from seventeen years ago when I left them behind.

(05:21):
It's nice to see her.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
She's been holding under her pillow a little bit of
Max Love.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
My girl Mad all right blast in Salisbury, North thirteen
one O two three. What did you take after the breakup?

Speaker 5 (05:33):
I gave away my ex's wineglasses all right, crystal.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Wineglass, fancy ride ride el ones No just for he
mean crystal so blaster. Why did you decide to give
them away and not give them back to your ex?

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Oh? Because I found naked photos of another woman that
were taken on our bed.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
What where were the photos?

Speaker 5 (05:58):
They were in the shed in a photo album.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
He took them down to the pharmacy and had them processed. Yep,
he's he's got him in the shed in an album.
So he just ducks off down to the shed every
now and then leaves you inside.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
Yeah. Look, I can't explain it. Who knows how a
man's mind thinks when he's doing dirty things? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Do you know the woman on the bed?

Speaker 5 (06:24):
Yes? I did?

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Of last who what was your relationship with them.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
He was a she was a friend of ours, and
I always suspected that there was something happening. But yeah,
so I wasn't surprised.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Oh my, did you get some money for the crystal
wine glasses?

Speaker 5 (06:42):
No? I just gave him away.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Yeah, you know what.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
That almost feels better. Did you ever see this woman again?
Did you speak to it?

Speaker 5 (06:49):
No? No, I didn't. I saw. I caught up with
her a couple of years later when our younger son
started KINDI and her.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Drop off.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
It was funny because she had a kid that was
just finishing Kindy and transitioning to junior primer and her
kiddockdrug one of ours. Oh that is yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Let's never get tested. Okay.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
No, I can't believe you only did the wine glasses.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
A lot more than that.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Giving away everything, Okay, that's a fantastic standard for What
did you take after the breakup, Laura?

Speaker 4 (07:30):
And what did your ex take?

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Try and top that?

Speaker 6 (07:36):
Yeah, I think I'm going to win this one guy.
He took everything. He took my home, my dog, my car,
my credit cards, and left me homeless and pregnant.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Oh my days.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Yeah, are you okay?

Speaker 6 (07:56):
Yeah? Yeah, I've got a great house and a beautiful
family and a beautiful partner, and I'm a okay, but yeah,
that was not expected for this time of the morning.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
What were the consequences for him? What happened after that?

Speaker 6 (08:07):
Well, he went to prison and I got to get
away and start my life over. So yeah, I think
harm is really what was his consequences?

Speaker 1 (08:16):
So he's gone to prison for selling your stuff?

Speaker 6 (08:20):
I don't think it was for that. I think it
was for probably other related things. Yeah, but yeah, he
sold my cops, all my baby stuff, all my furniture.
He's a bad Oh yeah, yeah, good egg.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Has he met the baby?

Speaker 6 (08:35):
Never? No, No, So.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
Just let him rod in jail.

Speaker 6 (08:39):
Yeah, no, he's no, he's just out now and started
the new life and done probably the same thing with
the new partner. So yeah, it really puts.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
It really puts. My high school girlfriend took two of
my jumpers and dam yeah.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
Doesn't it sort of.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Sorry you went through that, Laura.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Do you want a two hundred dollars service voucher form Automasters?

Speaker 6 (09:03):
That would be awesome.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
We will give you that, but the dealer is you
can't tell your ex because he's probably gonna take it.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
No, I don't think he's got his license, so it
doesn't matter

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Yours, Laura, What a cat chakes God,
