finals kicking off Sunday, nineteenth of October. Please be upstanding,
make all the noise in the world for Rodan.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Kaing your morning, Morning, Morning, morning.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
Oh we are very well, Ryanan Keating.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
We are such a big fan of accents on this show,
so you are just the man. We can honestly talk
to you all day and it doesn't really even matter
what we talk about. Do you find that when people
mention accents, especially being in a foreign country, that you like,
you put it on even more and you go back
to it.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
Ah, not at time.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
To be sure, to be sure.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Oh my goodness, it's really talky.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
No, I don't have an action. No, I think you do.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
To be honest, I think you're conscious of it. As
soon as you said it, I was thinking, Wow, what
do I say? How do I talk?

Speaker 5 (01:26):
What do I do? Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:28):
Right?

Speaker 6 (01:29):
And we love the voice. We love you on the voice.
But the thing I am so excited about is that Boyzone.
After many years, there is talk of you guys getting
back together.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Yeah, it's no longer talk.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
It's happening.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Next June, we're doing a couple of shows in London
and that's all we're doing. You know, everyone talks about
reunions and comebacks and new.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
Music and all of that. Nothing for us.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
It's just our way of saying goodbye for the final chapter.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
If you go back to the boy band days, did
you guys ever have any beef with five or Westlife
or any of the others you know next to you boys,
Did you ever have any anchorman back Alley beef?

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I don't know if you If you know the band
boys own very well. But if you see Shane and Keith,
you know that nobody's going to mess everybody mess with
Shane and Keith.

Speaker 6 (02:13):
Can we just talk about Ronan the viral dancing. I
love that I saw you dancing to Elvis.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Well, you know that I can't.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
I'm glad that you said it random because Haley was
about to say that she's seen a clip of you
dancing at a golf club recently YEA to these elvis.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
It's very jarring to watch. It just looks like a
man having a whole lot of why.

Speaker 6 (02:35):
I'm saying, it's beautiful. I love every every single thing
about it. How did you feel when you saw yourself
dancing like Elaine Bennis?

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I mean, you have no idea you're doing that. When
you're doing that, when you watch it's back, you realize, wow,
did I do that?

Speaker 5 (02:49):
I could not walk the next day.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
You know, I'm a little bit older than you guys
moving like that.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
It's not something that I can do the year.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
We love you for your voice, not for your dancing.
It's absolutely fine. I've always wanted to know as someone
who is a judge. You sit there, you push the button,
you turn the chair around, and you guys are doing
all the auditions. Has the chair ever They'd never put
this to air, but has it ever malfunctions?

Speaker 5 (03:14):
Never? On my watch.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I've had the coaches that happened to We've had situations
where the chair didn't turn, the button didn't work.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
It happens.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
I mean, the technology can't trust it and I plugged in. Yeah,
there's a motor in them, there's power. Yeah, absolutely, so
sometimes things go wrong, but you know, we've an amazing
team of people in the background that make stuff happen.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Can you imagine Melsey sitting there going, this is the
most beautiful voice I ever heard, smashing the button and
turnings chairs turning, he goes great step in the by off.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
I'll have that.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
I'm obsessed with Melsey. Do you just like sit next
to her?

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Going?

Speaker 6 (03:48):
I can't believe I'm sitting next to sporty spies right now?

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Ah, yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
I mean she's one of my oldest friends.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
We've known each other for thirty years. We started at
a similar time together, shared the stage together many times
over the years in bands and solo and you know,
she's a great lady and I'm delighted to have her
on the panel.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
You know, she's great value.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
You need to tell them to get back together.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
We've been waiting for Spice Skills reunion for like one
hundred years.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Well, when we sell all our tickets, then I'll tell
her to get the band back to Okay.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yeah, he's got priorities. Hey, Ronan Keating, we want to
play a game with you next. You up for a
little game A game mix one or two point three
Haley Max in the morning. He is a judge on
the Voice and the semi finals happening this Sunday, nineteenth
of October.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
The Voice the songs.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Roan Keating is here everyone, Ronan, Hey, Ronan Keating, can
we play a game with you before we let you go?

Speaker 4 (04:42):
To go and judge the people on the Voice?

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Our game that we look It's been played for generations
in Australia.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
You might not have heard of it. It's gold Keating
versus Keating.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Hell on, We didn't either until about fifteen minutes ago,
but it is now.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Ronan Keating.

Speaker 6 (05:02):
Are you familiar with our ex Prime Minister Paul Keating?

Speaker 5 (05:07):
I haven't heard of him.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Yeah, it was the Prime Minister of Australia between ninety
one and ninety six.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
He was witty, He had a sharp tongue.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
He was known for dishing out barbs just like you,
Ronan Keating.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
Very sharp, a boyzone back in the day.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Yeah, I'm sure he was.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
So.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
The way that Keating versus Keating works is I'm going
to read a quote to you from one of the
Keatings and you have to tell me if it was
a Paul Keating quote or a Ronan Keating quote, do you.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
Understand, Robert, I understand.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Okay, you get there.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Are not many rules to it. I'd be surprised. I'll
give you a half volley to start with, a real
easy one. Your first Keating quote as prime minister the
pastoral least question was a very vexing and torrid one
for me, which Keating said that.

Speaker 7 (05:55):
I think it was Paul ke It was congratulations. That's
a tricky one, all right. It's good to get one away.
Number two when times are at their worst. It is
amazing what people will do for you, Paul or Roan
than Keating.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Oh mean it was done.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
You're very insightful, Ronan.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
There you go. This is good.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
All right, we just catching on. This one is maybe
my favorite quote, and it could go either way. It's
a short quote, and I want you to think of
all of your lyrics because maybe it's one of those.
Quote is because I want to do you slowly? Was
that Ronan Keating or former Prime Minister Paul Keating?

Speaker 5 (06:38):
Well, I really really hope it wasn't the former Prime minister,
so I go it.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Was the former Prime minister in parliament speaking to the
head of the opposition.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Why whatt me the whole What did he say?

Speaker 4 (06:56):
They used to you know what? I can give you
the whole quote.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
The full quote is when speaking to his opposite number,
John Houston. The answer is mate, because I want to
do you slowly and in the psychological battle stakes we
are stripped down and ready to go.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Makes no sound?

Speaker 5 (07:12):
What hell?

Speaker 4 (07:14):
All right? I have one more Keating versus Keating quote
for your owning.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Okay, cross, Okay, here we go.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
I do not know how to use the washing machine.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Which is absolutely me, absolutely.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
And that's why I love you.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Rodan.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
There you go. I do now. My wifress called me, well,
I do know, but I didn't know how to use one.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
That's okay, would you? You're in a boy man, you
paid people to do that. Okays, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
We love having you on the show. Roanan, thank you
so much and we cannot wait for boys.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Own Thanks Amni and great to talk to you again.
