Speaker 1 (00:10):
I heart podcasts.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Here more mixed one or two point three podcasts, playlists
and listen live on the Free iHeart app.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Oh right Home and Away last night, I really she
left the show. All fans, even if you haven't seen
Home and Away in twenty years, eyes were glued to
the TV last night because it's a big deal. Our
Gold Loggie winner, I Run drove away. Lynn McGranger drove
away into the sunset. She's got alzheimers.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Yeah, this is the curtains for her.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
The way that they've set it up is she just
wants to go and see the world, see the world
takes over.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Before it takes over. And actually it's a really pleasing
death for that show. I think they couldn't have killed
her like they've killed other characters on the show.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
She's alive. You know she's going to die off. Can
we listen to the moment she.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Leaves No regrets, n love, loves to show no love.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
I'm just sort of on a website that shows every
single death that has ever been in Home and Away
and how people leave.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
We've got a.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Brain aneurysm jumped off a cliff, shark attack, heart attack,
car accident, lukemia boating accident, hit by a train, said
to see me, drowned, shot dead, fell off a cliff.
Another one drug overdose, brain hemorrhage. That's like died in
a month's slide.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Give a few of them some credit.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Our favorite death, my favorite, and this is probably where
my morbid brain started, was when Bobby was in a
tragic boating accident. This is Home and Away. That stuck
with me forever. That's when I was in the trenches
of Home and Away. I loved the show so much.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I was more of a neighbors man growing up. And
Toady Toadfish, Oh yeah, toadfish.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Rebeccy got married to.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Dyes and they were driving off in there. I reckon
it was a white station wagon, just married Cliff.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
It was the saddest see she she died.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Obviously survived because the fish.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
And then sting Ray, his brother died because he was
donating bone marrow to his niece.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
He died off the show.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
And then one of my saddest ones was Shane Parrish.
You probably wouldn't remember this, but it was dear to
Brama played him Rest in peace. I didn't know he
also passed away in real life. But Shane was on
everyone's wall when we were growing up. He had a
motorbike accident and he survived that like Sleaenburss. Yeah, but
then he cut his hand while I was at the beach,

(02:43):
and then he got sept to seemia.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
This is the Shane.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Want to get girl.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
It was so sad. That's angel boy girlfriend. He's gone.
He's gone.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
That's good. There have been some very good ones. I
quite enjoyed the way that John Palmer died. John Palmer
on who was John? John had one of the weirdest
and wildest finishes to his life. He was diagnosed with
a life threatening brain tumor sad, but he had a
weird symptom that came with this diagnosis, and that caused
him to go around town wearing a black raincoat lighting fires.

(03:34):
He was a serial arsenist and he had no recollection
of what he was doing because of the brain sewer.
And things got so bad that one of his fires
injured the wife.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Did he die that fire too?

Speaker 2 (03:47):
He also lit a bush fire which caused one coat
to get lung damage and they then died of cancer. John, however,
still a current character on the show Fairwell George.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
And Kralton Park. You're a big Irene fan, mate, morning today.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Oh my gosh, how are you.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Well?

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Yeah, I thought of fantastic last night.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
I loved it.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
So it was just nice to see you go out
just in a nice way rather than all the things
that you've mentioned, because I agree with you. I've been
watching Home and Away since I was a kid, and
just to see, yeah, just to see somebody go out
in a different sort of way, you know, rather than
as you said, bombs blown away, shot killed.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Well, let's not forget the time that Gavin Campbell died
in a mudslide because he was wresting someone from our
Stuart's house. His foot got trapped in the Debra landslide
and Rember while he was trying to get it for
a telephone pole fell into the house and exploded and
he died.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Who could forget that, George.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Exactly, that's a good shot. I don't mind watching it
all right, Georgie.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Do you think that we're losing a bit of the
spark to Home and Way? Now we've lost Irene. We've
got pretty much. We've got and we've got.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
I'm still going to watch it, want to watch especially
ladies after

Speaker 3 (05:09):
GPS like thank you Jeorge,
