Okay, we saw the most beautiful story this week, so cute.
Everyone's hearts were singing across South Australia when we saw this.
A ten year old Annabella went to her Wakary Primary
school dressed for book week as Magda as Sharon Kim
and it's so brilliant.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
You see the photo and you actually think, oh, that's Sharon.
Then you look close and like, no, that kid's ten.
That's a ten year old kid.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
And she has done the most incredible job dressing up
as Sharon.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
The netball beevon, got the ball cut and got the
brace on the hand, brace on the left hand, and.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Then something magical happened. Magda, the real Magda saw it
and from her hospital bed, oh there.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Well, this is a special shout out to little ten
year old Annabella Willis in Adelaide. I just wanted to say, Darling,
thank you so much for your impressionation of Sharon's tree.
So he I mean he having chemo and it really
cheered me up and I'm very touched. And it was
a beautiful thing to do. Thank you, my sweet. Lots
of love to you and lots of love to you all.

How did you feel when you found out that Magda
responded and saw you dressed up as her.

Speaker 5 (01:38):

I was very shocked and very very happy.

She actually thought that she had won the Advertiser bookkeep competition.
That's what the screaming was about, because we didn't realize
that she'd responded. We had all these messages coming through
on my phone and I was like, what is my
phone pinging? And I kind of ignored it, and then

I saw one of the messages. It was actually I'm
a deputy principal wait pre primary, and she said Magda
has replied on video. So when we saw her, we
were just in disbelief, like in shock that she had replied,
but also to see Magda looking, you know, so unwell
and taking the time to reply, you know, with everything

(02:29):
she was going through, very very amazing. But yeah, also
quite heartfelt to see her like that.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Did you shed a tear, Mum Rachel when you saw the.

Speaker 6 (02:38):
Oh my Marcus and I are my husband, Annabella's dad.
We were a blubbering mess. We just yeah, the enormity
of her I think, and just seeing Magda that way
just really brought it home for us. So we were crying.
And the fact she took the time to, you know,

in her treatment, to actually record a message for Annabella
like she.

Didn't actually she couldn't go the logans because she's so
unwell so and she couldn't feeling so rotten going through
a chemo Right now? Can I ask why why did
you dress up as Sharon? Where did that come from?

Originally me and my two best friends were going to
do this through Chipmunks, but we didn't have enough time
to plan and Mom Me and Mom both me, Mom,
Me and Mom both came up to me amazing I
did to dress up for Sharon. I thought that was
a great idea because I don't know, we were trying

as a joke to see if Maggieta could see it.
