Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because I think it's time that we put together the
mix one or two point three or ally Clap Breakfast
shows Unwritten Rules for Life, because remember last was it
last week? The week before that, we all decided that
we need to wave if someone lets you in in
the traffic.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
And not just wave quickly like a good wave.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
So it's there, right, and everybody callers everywhere We're like, yep,
absolutely absolutely, So I think that's something that should be
going into our book of Unwritten Rules for Life, right
right officially. So then I've got another one. Yesterday I
was driving up Fulleton Road. I was just going to
go and meet a friend at brown Hill Creak you
can go for a bit of a walk. So I'm
going up Fulleton Road and this happens. You can pick

(00:37):
any two lane three lane road around our fair city
where you're in the right hand lane, and then you
get stuck behind someone who is turning right across traffic.
And so then what happens is there's a big line
of cars that you know, they get banked up behind. Now,
why can't we all just accept that everybody wants to

(00:59):
get out up from behind the car that's impeding our travel,
and we all put our indicator on together, and we
all pull into the left lane together. Why is it
that we exist in a society that seems to think
that it is the back car that puts us in
it and then zooms along, then it's the second back
cars and stops everybody else from coming out.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Once that lineup starts on that right hand lane, she
grows and grows and grows. And there's nothing more frustrating
than being in that position and watching all the other
cars whizzing past getting their kids to sport on time,
and you're sitting there rotting because someone wants to turn
right because Dullich Bakery is just there, exactly whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
So we were and I was sitting there and right,
and then this little angel came from the clouds and
the lady behind me in a dark s uv hello
to whoever you were, put her indicator on and started
coming out, but waited for me to also come out,
one of you know, to come out in front of
it with us. Were like a synchronize coming out.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yeah, that's great.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
It's better than the village people. I know. He's Can
we please put that in the unwritten rule for life,
that we all just help the person come out of
that blockage together.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yeah, there's a school on Port Rush Road where the
cars come streaming out of, but they have to come
out onto Port Rush Road. So whenever I'm driving down
Port Rush Road and I can see the lineup, I
slow down and use my car as a shiell. Yes,
and then and then I flashed my lights at them
and go go, go, go go go. Not just one,
go three or four, let's.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Go like that. Bringing in the flashing of lights to
communicate stuff is good too, because it's kind of dropped
off in recently.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I've got one for you.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Do not play your own personal music out loud on
public transport. I mean, there's nothing worse to turn it down,
put your ear buds, and no one else wants to
hear you playing some

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I'm terrible music on public transport.
