Speaker 2 (00:17):
Mourners have taken their seats. They're wearing all black. Out
of the all staff email that went to the entire
building at MIX, we've had two people rock up. Your
daughter is here, so my little baby girls here have
no idea what's going on. He's got purple pants on. Yeah,
she's dressed appropriately. Now Haley and Max are standing out
of the office and you guys are the official pallbearers.
(00:37):
We will now start this funeral procession.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
We're holding the little tiny coffin as we step into
the church.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
It's tough to it's such a small coffin. We actually
don't need both hands on it at all. But this
is the duty. I hang on around this po around
the pole here. We don't want to drop the fishes.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
I feel like an honor. This heavy. Like the last
people that would have experienced this, they would have been
doing the Queen's paul bearing careful lay.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
There she is the little daisy coffin, which, for those
of you playing at home, may just be your match
box with a.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Big cross on it. Yep rod church. Now all right,
the coffin has been laid. We now throw to the
funeral director to commence the service.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
We gather here today in quiet remembrance, to say goodbye
to a small, but cherished soul, Daisy the Goldfish, who
brought six months of joy, curiosity, and gentle presence into
the life of her devoted companion, Sophia. Though Daisy's time
(01:39):
with us was brief, her impact was far from small.
She brought light to Sophia's days, swimming gracefully with her
little tail always there, a comforting ripple in a busy world.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
It's so nice, so nice.
Speaker 4 (01:56):
May may I invite Burgo to come to La lectern
to patribute with a eulogy.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah, I'm on my way. You know what I love?
Speaker 1 (02:06):
While Burgo walks up there, We've got the big core
at the front with Daisy's picture on it, and it
says Daisy the Goldfish and the Dates of Life.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Five. Daisy wasn't just a fish. She was a golden
ray of light and a glass tank, a silent a
silent companion, a slippy little soul who taught us that
love doesn't need words or eyelids from the moment she
came into our lives, swimming nervously behind the tiny little
pass She made the water feel warmer. She was loyal,
(02:40):
she was brave. She was terrible at hide and seek,
but she was out. She swam in loops, but her
impact was anything. But she gave us joy. She gave
us peace. She gave us the coasion occasional al girl bloom,
I can't talk when I forgot to clean the tank,
which was often. Some say goldfish only have a three
(03:03):
second memory, but Daisy, she remembered us at feeding time
every time. Today, we don't just say goodbye to a fish.
We honor a legacy. We say goodbye to a friend,
a daughter, a floating icon, inspiring swim freely. Now, little
Daisy girl, may your next tank be endless, May the
flakes rain down forever, and may you finally catch that
weird reflection you always chase reds easy, little fish, You did.
Speaker 5 (03:27):
Good, Uly, That was really nice, b jo, how lovely,
very nice words.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
Let us take a moment of silence to remember Daisy,
her bright orange shimmer.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
The way she came up to the glass.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
When Sofia approached the tiny buhubble trails, she left behind
and the quiet calm she brought to the room. Please
everyone pause from a moment of silence.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Oh oh, that's in that moment. That's enough a moment.
And she did only cost six dollars. All right, we'll
come back.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Can we play another hymn?
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Yeah, let's play another one. We've had the official ceremony.
Haley and Max were pallbearers. The casket has been laid
to rest, and Sofia is here. Sofia or not. She's sad.
She's sad, she's fighting back tears, sad for her.
Speaker 6 (04:30):
Yeah, she's angry.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
No, don't die, No, how did you take her from me?
I shared my special words and hand it back over
to the funeral director. Now for the rest of the proceedings.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
We're not now nice. We now like to have some
words of remembrance from Haley and Max.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
First time hosting a funeral. All right, I'm just walking
up to.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
The lec turn the.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
Lec turn, ladies and gentlemen, I mean, if you don't
if you don't laugh, your cry. But my favorite memory
of Daisy is we went to the UAR twelve formal
together and the after party was so funny.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
She was so drun.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
She had so much passion pop she was vomiting in
an ice cream container. And then she tried to go
home in a taxi and she was vomiting all over
the taxi and the taxi driver kicked her out.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
It was so fun. I could go down to those time.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
God, it was just beautiful memory.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
And oh thanks thanks, Hailey. Max is heading up to
share his special words.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
I actually never told any of you guys this, but
Daisy night, many years ago, we had a little flink
a long time. We had a met at a party.
We had a mutual friend, Gil McLaughlin. We were in
line for the toilet. I need to we she needed
to get in the bath to stay alive because she's
(05:58):
a fish.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Hit it off. Had a great night.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
But I was living a little bit fast and loose
back then, a little bit faster than Daisy. I kept
saying that we should have Raydox muscle soak in the bath.
She said, if I have a bath in red Ox
muscle cirk, I'll die.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
I said, look, not in moderation, baby, But she said,
we can't do it. And we find our separate ways,
but we'll always have those times together.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Daisy I'll never forget you. So touching. That's so nice. Oh,
the funeral director is actually in tears. We're now going
to head to the wake. I think the food is
being set up. The fish fingers are on their way.

the Goldfish. At the funeral this morning, Max is wearing
(07:26):
his best funeral attire for a goldfish. It's a Barnacle
Bill uniform.
Speaker 6 (07:29):
Yeah, I got a Barnacle Bills fleecy and a barnacle
Bill's polo. But I did put my black tie on
as well, really black top leapard print bottoms because she
was wild though she still she was wild. And Burgo's
got a black tux jacket on that does not fit.
