Speaker 1 (00:00):
Radio can be a very powerful tool for bringing people
together for a common cause. Right now, we need all
of Adelaide to come together for something that you and
I Hayley have had our interest very much peaked for
in the last twenty four hours.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
As soon as we saw this online, we have just
been worried sick, as would the owner of Beautiful Flossy b.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Yeah, Flossy is a little toy kavoodle stolen out of
a house in Fullerton on Tuesday, the twenty eighth of
January around midday.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
We have the owner of Flossy on the line with us.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
And Louise Morning and Louise, what's going on?

Speaker 3 (00:34):
What's happened here?

Speaker 4 (00:35):
Tuesday? Around one o'clock My house was broken into and
my little girl, Flossy, my little sir poodle, was stolen
from my home. She's three point five kilos. She's about
thirty centimeters high. She's the size of the large chicken
we've seen that.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
There's like the laundry door had been broken into. Was
anything else stolen in the house or do you think
someone came.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Just to takenistic? Airline went off? I think they came in.
They set off the alarm. She was there. She's so friendly,
and I mean she would have been alarmed because the
breaking in would have been noisy. That she's such an
inquisitive and friendly girl. And I just think the person
just picked her up and left. But you know she
didn't run away. She was carried over lot Togaate. Yeah,

(01:18):
there's no way she got away by herself. And there's
no way that she's anywhere in this neighborhood loose because
everyone knows her and she would have been found.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Will you live just around the corner from me? And
so I'm in a group with the dog park there.
There's like ninety people part of this group. Everyone is
sharing her photo. We just want to find her. Do
you have a feeling of where she maybe?

Speaker 4 (01:40):
I hope she's with someone who's looking after her. I
just want them to know to give her back. She
gets her strength from me because I'm her person. Of course,
she's not her best dog when she's not with me.
She would be scared. She would be missing her sister.
She hasn't no life without and you know, we're just devastated.

(02:04):
She needs to come home and I don't care about
anything else. I just want to be safe.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Yeah, this is what we've been saying.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
And Louise, a robber can break into my house, take
any TV, take a PlayStation, that's fine, just leave the dog. Yeah,
it just seems so strange to us that someone would
do this. And Louise, do you have any reason why
someone would break into your house and pinch your beloved dog?

Speaker 4 (02:27):
No one knows. You know, she's very small. She would
have been easy to take, I guess, and maybe someone
thought she would be a good gift for a family
friend or something or other.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
I just yeah, they must have known your house though.
This is the thing I wonder you just go, can
you see her when you walk past your house?

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Like?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
How do they know that she even lives there? Yeah,
they've scouted it.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
I don't know that it was targeted. I think it
was opportunistic. I think they broke in and she was
very easy.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
I don't know if they're listening to this by chance,
what do you want to say to them?

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Give to someone safe? She's so small all if she
was let loose, she wouldn't be seen and she would
just be really scared, you know, if she's always been
kept so safe. So I just wanted to be taken
to a vet she's microchipped or handed in to police
or someone safe it can get it back to me.
She would be scared, she would be confused, so just

(03:18):
give it to someone who can help her come home.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Yeah, and Louise, I don't want to put words in
your mouth, but I would imagine at this point for you,
it's really I don't care that you broke into my house.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I don't care who you are. Just as long as
my dog comes back, we can all move on.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely, I just want her home safe. Well.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
We want to help any way that we can. We
want the people of Adelaide to help any way that
they can. We're going to come up with a few
things to try and help you out here and Louise
in the.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Meantime, good luck.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Hopefully there are people around you that can give you
some comfort at the moment. Thank you so much for
sharing your story about Flossie, and thank.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
You to everyone's their interesting care. I mean, you know,
there's been so much love, which I really appreciate, and
I just want a little girl.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Sharing it every week all over Instagram. We're going to
try and come up with a few other things as
well for you and Louise.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
Okay, thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
No, please, thank you, good luck.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
We're going to find her. We're going to do it.
We'll find it anyway we can. And Louise, thank you
so much.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Bye bye,
