Speaker 4 (00:33):
That was great.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
I have brought something in that I wonder if anybody
else in Adelaide has kept this thing. I'm going to say,
it's a beautiful moment in my life and in it
and I appreciate that other people do this, you knowing
you are probably going to think that it's pretty foul.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
That's like keepsake, something you kept.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
From keepsake from my.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
Ba jewel, your treasure box. Yeah, you know.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I go through my treasure box all the time.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
I've actually got multiple treasure boxes in my house. Surprise, surprise.
You have to have a treasure box.

Speaker 5 (01:01):
You have to be able to look back and see
all of these things that were important at one point
in your life.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
And last night I was going through it and I
was like, what is this at the bottom, stuck under
all these letters, and it was the pregnancy stick that
I weed on when I found out.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
I was pregnant with my first son. That's not something
you need to keep, pale, so but I have and
I can't throw it away. That's disgusting. No, it's not.
You said stuck to the bottom of the box. And
I didn't say stuck. You did, You said the worst.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Okay, so if you know it's like a stick, all right, Yeah,
I get it. And then you have a little cap
that goes over the top where you WII, so it's
not like it's not like that stuck to anything.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Yeah, put in the bin.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
But no, because that's the moment I realized I was
going to be a mum for the first time.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
But now you have a constant reminder and I have
two children. Yeah, I do.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
But I like to keep things, and I'm one of
those people. Probably more so, I hope you're not listening
to this outfee, Probably more so with the first child.
You tend to keep everything because it's the first of everything.
So I didn't keep I'm not a stick. Oh I
didn't keep like, oh no, I'm not a sickis No,
I kept the pea sis.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
It's a nice memorabilia.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
It's not it is memorabilia, is what they do when
someone brings up a hundred in the cricket and they
go buy a signed bat, not buy the peace sticks.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
I don't know what I'm going to do with it.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Eventually, is just going to sit there and one day
when I pass away, a long long time away, I'll
hand it down to my son. He can do what
he wants with it.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Yeah, put it in the bed. That was his first.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Sign of life. I'm not going to get rid of that.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
I did that. I do like the keeping of things.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
So my mum and dad's to have a little memory box,
treasure box and all this sort.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Of George's box bigger than yours.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Because he's a second child. Oh no for Georgie porg.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
So I'm sure Mum's get the peace stick from me
somewhere at home. But no, there is a little thing.
So I had my first blanket when I was a baby,
and I kept it until, you know, a six year
old or whatever, because it was a comfort thing. Was
called purple. The blanket had a name. It was purple
because and you'll never guess why, it was purple and
was your favorite color?

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Yeah it was. I still like purple. And it had
little lining around the edge.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
It was almost like a smooth, silky lining, and then
the middle of it was a woolen blanket. And all
that's left after all of the use is just the
lining around the edge.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
It looks like rags, so tiny.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Not who has this?

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Your Mom's still in mom and Dad's.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
She can't throw that out.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
There's a little box with purple in it. Oh no, purple.
I can't hug purple because it looks like a shoelace.
Now no.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
And also I'm thirty three, Annie, we do have it?
Give us a ring? Thirty one O two three. Have
you got one of these? What are you keeping? What's
your keepsake?

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:35):
The weirder the better, And I will never judge because
I love this stuff. Keep whatever you want to your life.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
The weirder the better, preferably. Yeah, all right, the things
you've held on too, from your kids? Thirty one O
