Speaker 1 (00:01):
And Amanda jam Nation.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I love the Naked Gun movie series Naked Gun and
then Naked Gun one and a half.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
It all started from the TV series Police Squad with
Lesslie Nielson, who until then had been a serious actor,
and he was just so funny and so dry and
so droll as Frank Trebon. And so he then had
a series of Naked Gun. Remember there was Naked Gun
three and a half.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
No, there was Naked Gun two and a half or
one and a half.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Anyway, anyway, it was quirky, it was hilarious.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
J Simpson was in it. I played that's before.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
We realized we didn't, but it was so hilarious. It
is being set for a remake, but it's a great
opportunity to look back at how much we love Naked Gun.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
I love this one. Nice Beaver, thank you.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
I just had a stuff you with that Crystilla Presley.
It's the first time we've sort of seen her in
an acting role too.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
She was great. What about this? I was going to
have to stay on my toes.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
It's so good, so good.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I've heard police work's dangerous. It is. That's why I
carry a big gun. Aren't you afraid it might go
off accidentally. I used to have that problem, and what
did you do about it? I just think about baseball subtle.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
The delivery is so good.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
What about is that some kind of bust.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Lieutenant Frank's remen police squad. This is my captain Ed Harkaman.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Is this some kind of bust?

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Well it's very impressive, yes, but we need to ask
you a cute question.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Brilliant, just brilliant. Well, the movie is being remade, it's
set for release midway through next year. And of all
the people you think might have been in that role,
Steve Carell, for example, they've gone with Liam Neeson. Liam Neeson,
Liam Neeson, who is not known. I don't know whether
he actually has a sense of humor or not, but
he's not known for his comedic role. He wasn't extras, yes,

(01:49):
but he played a really serious guy trying to be
funny and he couldn't lift out to be serious.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
You look at it, Leslie Nielsen is a serious character.
His Frank Reben that is a serious character. So you
play it straight, So you play it straight.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yeah, but there's all this. You know, every role that
Liam Neeson seems to have done has been filled with menace.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
I will find you and I will kill you.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
And the laugh since you actually I think it will work.
I'm looking forward to seeing it.
