this mother has the kind of name you'd never forget.
In some countries, it's as common as Mary or James.
In others, it's considered incredibly offensive, so much so she's
been banned from using Uber.

What's sinner name? Well, if you are this woman a
lot in Sanskrit, her first name means good luck and
well being, and of course to her it's all part
of her identity. But to Global Transport giant Uber, her
name is so offensive it's seen her booted off the
platform for violating its terms. Her name is Swastika.

maybe two or three are the grocer of the same name.

Swastika is a thirty five year old mum of one
She grew up with her two sisters in Fiji, a
normal childhood in Suva where her name didn't stand out
at all, and so in a typical Indian or Fijian
classroom would Swastika be as common as Kate or Sarah.

Here in Australia, so it was very quite very common name.

Swastika met her partner online. Her name didn't deter him
from swiping for a match.
