Nation Jonesy no matter of arms for the pub test today,
Linda Hurley getting the ad F to sing it a function,
does it pass the pub test? Linda Hurley is Governor
General's David Hurley's wife. She's been involved with the military
for a long long time.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
She's always encouraged people to sing. At any function she's at,
she gets them to sing rownups singing. She writes her
own lyrics as well.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Meet her again when it's over, will Hagan kiss, shake hands.
We're all in this twogether, So let solender.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
She's rhyme lazy, rhyme.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Ye center was founded by a mar.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Anyway, that's always that's been her stick. That's well, and
that's been her stick. But this but recent weeks she's
got in trouble because the RSL have said, back off, lady,
respect the professionalism of the soldiers.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Yeah, exactly, And this was said one minute training for war,
the next minute singing songs. Certainly has been reported to
me that you very uncomfortable at best.

Speaker 5 (01:10):
Marcelle says there's a time and a place for music
in the Defense Force, but it should be left to
the military band and not to soldiers trained in the
art of war.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
She's demanded that the Defense Force personnel in Adelaide recently
sing sing one of her favorite songs, three Trains. Some
people are saying this is lovely, it's lighthearted, it's what
she's known for. What's the harm. Others are saying, these
are professional people, they're not children. This is uncomfortable, and
often they're international dignitaries and she makes them do this.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
It's not like she's doing a disk track.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
I'd love to hear, Hey, you're right, Linda Hurley getting
the ADF to sing it a function. Does it pass
the pub test? I think it's great. I'm glad that
she did it.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
I saw the live footage and they don't cheat. In
the manner of people in.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
The in the audience that were actually singing, it was great,
good honor. I don't think it passes the pop test
at all.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
They look like a laughing stock.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
There's a lot more serious things they've got to do
than be singing.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
No, she's got They're right, they won't. It's just a nobody.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
She's just a partner.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
She's not even your lictor casting singing. I think she
probably just keep doing in the shower, keep it to
herself like a bad ear worm.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Maybe she's invited invites everyone into the shower with her.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I'd like to hear that song, thank you for all
your corse
