Speaker 1 (00:01):
And Amanda jam Nation Jonesy demand of arms for the
pub test and today asking for specific things on the
gift registry? Does that pass the pub test?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Most people, I think these days, except that you are
entire You asked to take partner gift registry, but that's
stuff to set up your house. Maybe contribute to the honeymoon.
How do you feel about this?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
My daughter is invited to a wedd in. On the
registry is a purse. The bride asks for a purse,
a designer purse for the bride. I didn't know that
was allowed first fine, never did registries when I got married.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Also, the bride has asked to have for the guests
to prepay so she can get her taxes done next year.
People have joined in when this woman has said how
outrageous it is. A groom here is asked for a
Lego set that costs seven hundred and fifty dollars. People
have asked for mountain bikes, camping gear, dog beds. I
guess if two adults get together and they've got all
their stuff, if you contribute to the wishing well, you

(00:57):
don't know what they're spending. The money us like prices
right and It's like a GoFundMe page, isn't it. How
do you feel asking for very specific things on the
gift registry like this? Does it pass the pub test?

Speaker 4 (01:09):
No? I think the personal items should be bought, you know,
by yourself. Do you want personal items ask for money? Maybe? Noah.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
I don't love the register. I think they're just rude,
but stuff like it with all half the time I
asked all these ridiculous things and it should be just happy.

Speaker 6 (01:26):
No, it doesn't pass the pub test. Yes, I do
believe in a registry. However, by putting personal items on
a registry, it's pretty much saying it's for you. A
wedding is for two people. It's not a birthday. It's
a wedding. You're take in a nikki I and that's ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
The gift should be left up to whoever turns up.
Whatever they bring, they bring.

Speaker 6 (01:45):
You can't be asking for too much.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Everything's expensive these days as well.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
So I got to tell you when my mates chipped
in and brought me a cordless drill on my wedding day,
that was a great thing.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I will ask the question all those men saying I
don't like your registers I bet they leave it to
their wives to go on by the prison of course.
Yeah funny, that funny there
