Actor Craig McGlaughlin says he has pulled out of the
Australian Theater production of Cludo following an aggressive backlash from
the theater community.

He said he and the other actors were being bullied
just at the announcement that he was involved in it,
so therefore, in an emotional thing on his Instagram page,
he said he's pulled out.

There was a time a few years ago where it

Well, this is the background to all of that. He
faced allegations of sexual harassment following his time as a
cast member on The Rocky Horror Show. In a court
of law, he was found not guilty. He later launched
defamation proceedings against a variety of media outlets, plus a performer,
Christy will And Brown, who had been in that show
with him. He gave his side of the story the

next day. Eleven women were prepared to come up on
the witness stand and give this out of the story,
and he pulled the pin on that deformation cap.

That's a lot, isn't it?

That is a lot. But he was offered this job
in cludo. He chose not to take that job by
say but saying I have been bullied out of it.
How do you feel, Craig McLaughlin, would you like to
see him back on stage? Does it pass the pub.

Test most definitely he was cleared. I think quite often
women get into a pack mentality and if he was
so bad, why did they keep going to work?

Definitely?

And I'm going to say.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
I think that if he's been found not guilty in
the quart of flow, and that should be it, because
these charges follow you for the rest of your life
and you cannot get away from him, and it stinks.

Speaker 6 (01:33):
A very hard one. I think it's a fifty to
fifty things in the enderdement industry. Fifty percent of the
people are like it and fifty percent of the people
won't like you. What he done was probably inappropriate, but eventually,
you know someone needs redemption. So I think maybe give
him a go. I'm sure he's not going to do
what he's done again and move on.

I don't think he passed the past test because we
don't have to tell a grown man how to act
and why should we go watching reform.

Speaker 6 (01:58):
I think it does pass the pub test that he
go back on stage.

Yeah, he's done the wrong thing.

Bullying's not cool in a workplace, so that's not on.

Giving him a second chance and let him get on
with the show.

Absolutely, go Craig McLachlin. He's done his dues and as
well the bullying. Get onto the bully. That's not right,
Lennie mac and I think absolutely.
