🍿 Modern TV Shows Are Being "Dumbed Down" To Accomodate Phone Scrolling

that modern TV shows are being written to accommodate the

That details might be ignored entirely. And I've been watching
Morning Wars and Tulsa King at the moment, enjoying both
these shows very much, but both shows had a moment
where they just wrapped up the plot. And I to
spoiler alert for you, but there was one bit I
just say, a minute. They wrap that up pretty quickly.

And I was just actually watching it, and I thought,
hang on, that doesn't make sense, And then.

And then an editor has come through and just chopped
it out.

And Morning Was are doing the same thing. Morning Was.
I was kind of watching it, but I was reading
a book at the same time, doing something else, and
that I'm following this show. I must be a genius.
And then it got me thinking, remember the good old
days of TV when the premise of the show would
be explained in the song you know had Gilligan's Island

that sort of sets down, you know, the whole the
whole story, hour tour.

The whole story.

And it even mentioned who the cast members were, the
stereotype cast members.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
The skipper two, me and his wife, and then he
was just and his wife, and they did one and
the rest.

Speaker 2 (01:34):

The classic is the Beverly Hillbillies story about poor mantaineer
Belly kept found me fed. Come on, you know, shooting
up some food.

Next thing, you know, don't.

they moved to Beverly.

And the last show that did that was Friends.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
That really I didn't have the story.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I kind of did. That song, you know.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
That was a song that existed separate to the show.
But it's not like that song is not about the show.
It doesn't say there's two guys in a flat and
another guy who's a little bit twetish.

You know, they don't it's friends.

Speaker 1 (02:31):

What was that threes company?

Anyway, maybe maybe they've got to come back and do that,
you know, maybe that's what they're got to do against
