radio kids, shows, dramas. The ABC has so much quality
stuff And I had such a moment of pride because
the piano is coming back for next season. But to
be part of the ABC, for my fourteen year old self,
foot would have been thrilled to know I was part

of the machine. But can I talk about the ABC Upfront?
It was so amazing. So the piano's coming back for
next year. The star of the whole show your Hole
Upfront was an eleven year old, eleven week old Border
Collie pup that Lisa Miller.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
She's a good friend of mine. I love her.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
She hosts Mustard Dogs, one of my favorite shows, and
she was whole, an eleven week old Border cold So.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
You came home with a dog? I held great? Have
been dead all night? Where's the dog? Where's that dog?

Speaker 1 (01:21):
But no one cared about what any of the humans
were doing or saying. Everyone just looked at the dog.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yeah, but you just gotta chower bat dogs. That's all
you gotta do.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
But let me tell you this, the piano. Next year
you're going to We finished recording season two. I think
it's better than season one, and I didn't think that
was possible. I must say, and Guy Sebastian, I can
now announce joins me and Andrea Lamb. I'm the only
one of the three that doesn't have an aria. Andrea
won an Aria's this week.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
What happened to Harry Harry Connick Junior.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Well, I think Harry's touring and was busy and the
schedules didn't aligne.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
I will bring a great energy, So he really does.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
And you should see what because the thing is, people think, well,
how can the show work this time? Because they know
they're being watched somehow or the people who come to
play our public piano, but they didn't know who was
doing the watching.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
That's the difference.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
And so when you say here's Andrea, they go, what
I'm saying here's guy Sebastian. Everyone loses it. He's got
the John Farnham effect as everyone loves. Grandma's love him,
kids love him. He could not walk anywhere without being
the most recognized man in Australia.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
So he brings a fabulous energy and he's good on
the piano. He's brilliant on the piano. Brilliant. Does he
ever call it the piano? No, I've never heard him
call it the piano. That's what I like to see
a show just called piano. But when you want to
make a show, why don't you call it a Wild
West piano songs. We've got that. On the piano. People
can play anything. They're like, okay as a saloon, doors
open and the cathouse, Oh, come down and just go
