Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jerz and Amanda Jam radio prank calls buy and large.
I don't like them.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
I don't think to titan because I get anxious.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
We worked with Club Veg when we were over Triple Am.
Remember they used to do their sucked ins and I
used to always think, you know, they're always a bit difficult.
I remember Vic Davies convinced me me to do one
with Jimmy Barnes, which backfired spectacularly. With Jimmy Barns might
be a part of one. We had Jimmy Barnes on
the air with his he was doing the radio show

(00:30):
with me, and then Vic said home, we're going to
ring up Barnsey and prank him and Jimmy frank by
saying that his new song is dreadful as good Ask
and so Barnes he told everyone to off yes, and
the program director at the time came in and said,
possibly the worst hour of radio I've ever heard of
a lot.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
That's terrible.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
I don't like buying large prank calls, but I do.
And you remember this one years ago we did the
Public Trustee and Guardian.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
This is a series of ads that you're supposed to
feel like your eaves dropping on just a casual conversation
with people calling up the public Trustee whoever they.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Are, and celebrating our twenty years of this. And it's
pretty much one of those conversational radio commercials that you
hear where it might be a husband or wife, it
might be anyone, it might be someone ringing the public
Trustee and guardian. We did this in two thousand and nine,
but I think it still stands up.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Let them do it.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
So you've got the old lady.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
For example, is that the public Trustee? Yes it is.

Speaker 6 (01:32):
I'd like to see someone about a power of attorney.
I'm worried about looking after things in the.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
Future, you know.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
And then you've got you know, the young lady.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Is that the public Trustee? Yes it is Hi.

Speaker 7 (01:43):
I'm told you're the right people to talk to you
about making a will. But I've only got four days.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
I see nothing too serious. I'm going overseas and.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
You've got and you've got this. My favorite one is
the dopey guy.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Is that the public Trustee?

Speaker 5 (01:57):
Yes it is Hi.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
I have to talk to someone about making a will.
I've just had a baby, really well.

Speaker 8 (02:04):
My wife has, and she reminded me that now things
have changed. We both need to make our.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Wills, doesn't it You know, it just sounds nice.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
It's such a nice friendly because they're all voiceover people.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Why that guy just sounds as dumb as paint. But
would you be a party of an experiment with me?

Speaker 2 (02:22):
What do you to do?

Speaker 3 (02:23):
What would our jobe?

Speaker 4 (02:23):
You guys say, let's use our people and see how
they go when we put them back onto the public trustee?

Speaker 9 (02:36):
Just being going? Can I help you?

Speaker 5 (02:38):
Is that the public trustee?

Speaker 9 (02:40):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (02:40):
It is.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
I'd like to see someone about a power of attorney.

Speaker 9 (02:43):
Okay, I'll have to book you in for an appointment.
What day do you prefer?

Speaker 6 (02:48):
I want to be ready in case something does and
I can't manage properly or you know, paying bills or
later on my financial affairs of course.

Speaker 9 (02:57):
Yes. Do you realize that when you make it with us,
you have to appoint us as your attorney on the document.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
It's a big responsibility for someone else.

Speaker 9 (03:04):
Okay, But so you're happy to appoint us.

Speaker 6 (03:06):
I want peace of mind things will be taken care
of if I can't manage it all myself.

Speaker 9 (03:11):
I know.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
Is this a power of attorney I can set up
for the future?

Speaker 9 (03:14):
But are you wanting to appoint us.

Speaker 6 (03:16):
Worried about looking after things in the future? Finances? Paying
bills are that sort of thing?

Speaker 9 (03:22):
Are you wanting to appoint us?

Speaker 6 (03:24):
I want to be ready in case something does and
I can't manage properly. Are you know, paying bills or
later on my financial affairs?

Speaker 9 (03:32):
Is that app Oh?

Speaker 1 (03:34):

Speaker 2 (03:35):

Speaker 4 (03:38):
Okay, so the old lady didn't work?

Speaker 3 (03:40):
What about the young? What about the young?

Speaker 4 (03:41):

to you about making a will. But I'm only got
four days.

Speaker 9 (03:56):
What do you mean You've only got four days?

Speaker 7 (03:59):

should get my wheel up today.

Speaker 9 (04:03):

it sound like.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
And you know what, well, maybe if the old lady
doesn't work, the young lady doesn't work, what about.

Speaker 2 (04:33):

My wife has, and she reminded me that now things
have changed, we both need to make our wills.

Speaker 9 (04:58):
Okay, do you realize if you make wills with us
that we are the executor on those wils? You have
to appoint us if you make wills with us, right?
Is that what you wanted?

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Or plant us to do it now while it's top
of mind.

Speaker 9 (05:13):
Yeah, but you can't appoint someone else, So you need
to know that before you came in to make the wills.
