Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh whoa me, so woe me?

Speaker 2 (00:04):
No need to feel sad and bloom La Jels and
a man to find love for you married.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
At first sight, made a mockery of love. But we're
doing our own thing.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
We had great success last week. We had Darryl and
we had Carrie and they actually really felt a spark.
They're going on a second date this week.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Yeah, and that's a good thing.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
And now it's Angela's turn. Angela, let me just give
some background on you. Angela. You're fifty nine, you have
an eighteen year old daughter. You want someone who's respectful,
trustworthy and a great sense of humor. Hello, and welcome
to the show.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Oh thank you, Hal did you?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Thank you? Nice to meet though.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
And what's happened in your life that's made you think?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
You know what?

Speaker 3 (00:46):
I'm sick of the apps and the swiping. I want
to have some human connection.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Oh well, I don't even app is that the swiping?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Is it like that?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Yeah? I don't even do that because it's just not me.
I think mainly would be my daughter, just as her
evolvement and as they pushed themselves away at she's eighteen.
I have really just focused mainly on bringing her up
and working, and I just thought, I want to meet

(01:18):
someone I wanted to probably for a long time, but
didn't feel I wanted to reach out because.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Of her age. But as she's sure pushed to.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Me, you know, as they evolve and they don't want
to even want to speak to you, I just thought,
I want to meet somebody want to.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Be by yourself? Have you been single for.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
It's actually a bit longer than what it's said. It's
probably since Sophia was five and she's eighteen, so it's
been a little while.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I know.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
I don't sound like everyone'll be scared.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
No, not at all, because this is the thing with
particularly single moms who and single dads. You spend so
much time raising your child and you don't want to
bring anybody into the house that suddenly you go, actually,
now it's time for my next act. Women of this
of your fifty nine, I get it entirely, So tell
us the kind of guy you're looking for.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Well, I'd like someone non judgmental, that is accepting. Also
a sense of humor that's really important. Things like that
I am fairly health conscious, so someone I'm not expecting
fit in terms of age bracket because we're all aging.

(02:31):
So but someone who is aware, because I think as
you get old, it's really important just to look after
your health. That's someone like that.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
So fit. Yeah, but they don't have to be Chris hem'sworth.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
No, I'm not looking for thought. Okay, if they're out there, if.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I was out there, you're not going to knock him back.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Taken, as you know.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
But what about you?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
How would you be honest about yourself? What do they
need to know about you?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Well? This is probably something that my sister and I
both similar. We think we're funny. I'm always look I
have a sense of humor, but I just tend to
chuckle around the house. I talk a lot to myself
only because I've been single for so long. I just
have this what's the question again? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Right about what you're like?

Speaker 3 (03:19):
What men have to know about you? I think you
probably answered that just there, right.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
But you're not crazy? You're crazy, You're no.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
I'm very normal, Yes, yes, happy, I am happy.

Speaker 1 (03:29):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
