one of the guys who was on the show. His
name is Todd Barstow and in twenty eleven he went
on a fishing trip in a creek in weeper pat
York Peninsula in Queensland. He's a mine worker. He didn't

realize there was a three meter croc lurking in the water.
The telling of this tale only in Australia.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Got out of my car, put my beer on the ground,
taken me a lure off the rod and I'll take
about two steps and then bang, just something grabbed me
here on my left leg from behind. I felt like
somebody had jumped out to scare me. Or I've looked
down and there's eleven foot crop hanging off my leg
and I thought myself from trouble you and a big
splash of water come up and this left leg is
this just the cat he's done the death roll? This
legs pop out like a matchstick. I heard it go crack,

my little dog, big big, It was there bark and
carrying on all little bugger. I grabbed him and I
just started hitting the crocodile on the head with him
with the dog, with the little dog, thinking maybe he
might let go of me and take dig dig. But
the crocodile's pulled again, and I let gold dig dig
and I grabbed on with both hands again. I turned
around dig dig standing on the crocodile's back, ankle deep
in water. Has he got both legs, got both legs,

So I ripped on my finger off. I'm holding on again,
my fingers hanging down here, little like KFC chicken bone
sticking out, and the crocodile he's rolled again, popped, and
he's desicated this leg as well. Then and that's when
I really thought I'm gonna die, and I'll start yelling
out again, Help Crock, Help Crock. Next min I heard
his voice. Albatross Pub was about three hundred meters away,
and a lady named Rayleyan Motton. She's come out for

Darry and she's come over and I heard helps come
and love oh mate, And that was my second wind.
A blake named Kevin Bevan. He was driving through the
public car park. It was looking for his dog. Funny enough,
He's come running through the bushes there and I'm holding
on this up hearing water will be pants hanging down.
You look in lit my legs and he's like, Dottie,
we do each other funny enough, and I'm like, Kevy,

he guys, where's the crock?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Said some legs.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Crocodigles that go because obviously started him. And he's pulled
me up. He's dragged me up the bank. There. I'm
grabbing him, hugging him on his figures, hitting him in
the face. He's like, get that figured out of his
face and he goes the bitch old feller off pat him.
I look there and we started start laughing. And still there.

Wow, extraordinary, extraordinary Dorry. Someone cout for a Dorry. Key
Bevy whacking the croc with his dog.

Hoping the dog with the croc would take the dog.
