Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's John a man's row bud. Yeah, it's John a
man's robe. It's Friday on the cutting room floor today.
What have you got your boyfriend?

Speaker 2 (00:17):
George Clooney is retiring from romantic movies.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Breaking news. Do the news thing, do do do?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Hollywood star George Clooney has announced that he is retiring
from romantic movies to give way to younger leading men.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
You know what's interesting. There was footage of him the
last few weeks and people are saying, oh.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
He's given in to his youth. He's dyeing his hair.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Looks terrible.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
It was for a role.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
He acknowledged it was for a role. He said, my
kids are going to mock me. I'm doing this for
a role.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
You to look younger, George, Oh, it was for Greeci
in two thousand. He's got the Greasian going Gresian.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
I haven't heard of Greece in two thousand for some time.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
On a double standards when it comes to men dying there,
I'm not saying this. I've never dyed my hair. I
did once as a sort of a experiment.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I got that blonding spray and it just my wife
or girlfriend back then. Sad person Yeah, she had this
spray and it was called sun bronze or something like that.
You sprayed it in your head and then you stood
in the sun and your hair would go lighter. And
I went, oh, that's a bunch of shit, and I
and went out to the sun nothing. Then that night

(01:22):
went to an engagement party with my then girlfriend now wife,
and someone said, hair's got a lot lighter.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
What's going on? It actually works, So I did it
for an experiment and then my wife.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Had a lot of bricks of detail in that story.
That's not required. I don't care that you went to
an engagement party.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
We used to do this, but if we do a
comprehension test.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
We used to do this when we were younger. We'd
squeeze lemon in our hair and sit outside to see
if it would go blinde.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
We'll just swim in a seventies chlorine.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Pool, let it go green and come out with more
band aids than you.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Went in with.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
You know, you knew that your dad a overdose to
the pool when the kid came out like a skeleton.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
So what's George Plenty retiring? No he's not retiring from movies.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
No, he's retiring from romantic movies. He wants to give
the younger guys to go.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Can I put this to you as an older person? Now,
why aren't we seeing romantic stories of people our age?
Like he's only a year or so older than I am. Well,
if he wants to romance, if he wants to have
a romance with in a movie Michelle Pfeiffer or Meryl
Streep or someone who's age appropriate, then we should be
seeing those romance films and not just for young people George.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I think Meryl's Streep is considerably older than George.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
So you're saying, is he saying if he was going
to be cast in a romantic film, the women would
be young, much younger.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Or of similar age, and he's not interested. He's sixty three,
you're sixty three. What are you saying? I'll stop it.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
George has my number.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
But it's like what Tina Fey said when that movie Gravity.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
You know it's Sandra Bullock and he's up in space
and then it comes to a point where he has
to float away in space.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
And die, and they said, this is a film about
a man who'd rather float away in space and die
than spend another minute with a woman his own age.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
So that was George.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
He just doesn't want to He just doesn't want to
spend any time with a woman his own age in
a movie because how male Alamedine.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Ama Alamudine, she's his misso, international famous human rights lawyer.
Like I said, misso, she's younger than his is, but
she's not stupidly younger. And I find let me this
had been interesting quiz because he used to go out
with memory, went out with young actresses, with a female
wrestler for a while. He is a smart man and
he's settled down with a smart woman. Does that make

(03:38):
him less sexually interesting? Do you know what I mean? Right?
I'd be interested to know what people think whether you
prefer him looking like a cad, a bit of a
sexy cad, than a sensibly married man to a smart woman.
If he doesn't take his does it take his testosterone away?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
If you're married to George Clooney, it's George Clooney, you
would have to be of equal talent to George Cleaning.
I'm not saying that you're not equal talent. In fact,
scratched that from the record. I would say of equal celebrity.
But then again, you look at Ben Affleck and Jalo
when they got together. I thought, oh that's great, but
then that just.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Goes were too big.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Well, it's Ben Affleck and it's.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
J Lo too big, too big, enormous ego.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
It's like radio shows. You have to be on equal standing.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Or maybe are you in danger if there's two big
equal egos? And maybe are you feeling you're getting too
old and I need someone younger? You dye your hair
brown or blonde?

Speaker 1 (04:41):
You know how I get the spray?

Speaker 3 (04:43):
The spray go to an engagement party in secret work.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
I like to put the bricks of details in for you, friendy.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
All grouting, no brick.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Well, crowd is an important part. It's all grouting, no brick.
Come back Tomorra for Mark Johnty and a man is cotting.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Move forward,
