Because it was through a reputable organization, and it was
nice to receive a card. It was very nice to
receive communication from someone who's love. Your small amount of
money can change enormously. It's interesting you don't think about
what happens when those.

And I saw an interesting TikTok from a guy who
has an interesting spin on what happened to his family
sponsored child.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
My mum and dad just got a letter from one
of their previous World Vision kids, and she's let him
know that she's become a doctor, which that's incredible and everything,
but it now means that their World Vision kid is
their most successful child.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Thirty bucks a month. They got a doctor. It's bad enough.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
When I was growing up, she used to send over
her report cards and my mom would show like she'd
compare hers to mine, and I always get so jealous.
And one time I got so jealous that I put
her photo in the fridge so she could see how
much food we had.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
You know, the sponsored child has gone on to be
a doctor, mom, and saying I've paid for your education.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
I ended up with you drop.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Kicks thirty bucks.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
A march, yeah, and get a doctor.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Yeah. Because there's nothing worse when you get compared to
other kids. And that was the story of my life
when I was a kid.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Could you get compared as a kid down the right
Edmund Hillary, you live next door?

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Mark does this, and Mark does that and he's so good.
And Mark's university. And then even in life when I
was even in life, when I was getting into radio.
But Mark, he's a radiologist. Now he's he went to university.
He's doing radiology. You're just doing radio.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Still, you know, still, still I still go what's up
to Mark.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Now he's still doing radiology. I'll just say I get
paid more than him.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Though, so obviously this burn I did.

Let's compare pace slips, good old Mark, Yeah, golden boy.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Let's compare the worthiness of the job, Bren and I
think Mark wins.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
What he's just X raying people.

I could do right to meet Mark. You know what's
Mark's story? He sounds like I reckon if he has
said you two? There's some can I see pictures of Mark.

And their chickens. They go and stand by the big radio,
the big metals.

Would you do You'd say, okay, come and fry my
orcans while you're getting blasted by the X ray. They
under the rounds like someone's a bit sensitive about Mark.

I think this kid, this kid has every.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
I think you should put Mark's picture in your fridge.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
I'll just show more for my wealth.
