Speaker 1 (00:00):
Fame, So whoa me? So woll no need to feel
sad and gloom? Legend Z and the Man to find love.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
For here Week two of Jam Singles, and we didn't
do so well with the Laura. I thought we would
have done better.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
No, I think we did okay because on paper they
were perfectly matched. I think we did a good job.
But there was just no spark. And that's okay. We
can't generate spark, but we can put people together who
could be potential partners.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Where if we're to liken ourselves to an internal combustion engine,
where the where the fuel in the air, and we
just need the spark, that's right.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Well, we're bound to see what we can do with Daryl.
So this week it's Daryl's turn. Daryl's joined us in
the studio. Hello Darryl, Hi, hell are you very well?
Thank you? Lots of people have been interested in you.
You are a very self assured, handsome guy. So let's
talk about relationships and what you're looking for in a relationship.
And actually let's start with have you had many relationships?

Speaker 1 (00:58):
No? Not not in a long while?

Speaker 3 (01:03):
And what is it? Because Jones and I we're going
to be the ones who are going to sift through
all the people that have applied to meet you and
we're going to find one that we hope really suits you.
So what would you like us to look for?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Someone that's compassionate, someone that's caring, empathetic and just loves life.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
And in terms of physically, what would you like us?
Is there anything you think you know you don't like
curly hair or anything like that.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
No, I think if there's a sparkle or some attraction,
you'll get past most things.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Well that's leaving yes, compassion. So in past relationships, when
you look back, were the things that you think, Oh,
that's why that went wrong? That's what I can fix.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
I think everybody had some dramas throughout their life, and
I've i think at my age now, I've just worked
on myself to look past everything and and try just
try and be an overall better person.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
So and you just still follow the sharks.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
I still follow the sharks. Yeah, what are you doing here?

Speaker 3 (02:10):
We have to out there. He's a shark.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Let's just put that giant that's made him a giant hornbag.
There's probably women just running to the station.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Now take me.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
There, should be all right, so you love your sport, Yes,
I do. What else do on a weekend? What does
Daryl do?

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I generally play golf on a Saturday morning.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Ye, Or so you're going for a few hours and
that could be an attractive trade ladies. By the way,
he's not going to bother you on a Saturday.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Or I'm at the gym org for breakfast, or or
go and do some shopping. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
And so you like to eat out?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah? I do?

Speaker 3 (02:44):
And like are you bookish? Are you movie ish? You
like watching TV?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
What kind of things I like watching TV? I like
watching sport. I like attending live live shows, live sport,
some theater.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
A bit of an around of Daryl. When I look
at you, I can't believe you're single.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Yes, Why do you think that you haven't fallen in
love in the last few years? Have you been on
some dates?

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Only it's a few coffee dates and hasn't hasn't gone
any further. I find that a lot of when you
match with someone, you either don't hear from them or
you don't live in there in their streets, so they
don't want to know you because it's true and outside
their suburb is too far.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Oh that's hard that that wipes out most of the city.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Well on proximity. Proximity is a big thing, you know,
particularly in a city like Sydney where we've spread out
so far.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
I guess so. But if you're looking for love, you
know you'd move. You've moved cities for it. Rather, you know,
you can put get in an uber every now and then,
or get a bus if it's the big deal.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yeah, Well they're doing track work every every weekend, so
that's going to be hard.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Or Daryl's a golf so that's fine.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Then this might just sound like gibberish to you, Daryl,
but like really man putting it all together. We're putting
together a game plan.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
And so you're going to go on a date on
Thursday night, and during this week we're going to talk
to some other people in your life life to get
a perspective on you and what we should be doing
on your behalf. And then Jones and I will put
on our matching.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Pants and our matching hats.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Yes, and we'll see what we can do for you.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
That's great, Thank you, look.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Worried. Trust us, Darryl, were nothing.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
But your best interest at heart.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Nothing can go wrong, are we looking forward to sending
you on the date on Thursday. We'll check in with
you on Wednesday before the big date. Thanks for coming in, Darryl,
Thank you for having me. Wheels are in motion.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
