Notton John has had a double kneecap replacement. He had
this surgery last year and he's made a documentary and
I'll tell you it's a thirty minute film called Touched
by Gold, and he talks about this surgery and what

When I have my knee caps removed, the left one
first and then the right. I asked my surgeon if
I could keep the knee caps, which she was rather
startled about. Then I rang you and said, would you
prepare to if I gave you the left and the
right kneecap to do what you want with them.

Yes, he was talking to there, a surgeon, his jeweler,
his jeweler. He has had his knee caps turned into jewelry.
So this thirty minute film is Touched by Gold, is
about his jewelry collection. It's a documentary. You know, I
love my jewels, but I even eyes sort of it
that makes me feel a little bit ick. So he

gave the knee caps to the jeweler. Here's his favorite
jeweler describe being what he had to do with them.

We baked them. Then they get wrong like pummis stone.
They're very porous, and so we had to paint them
with acetate and then just polish them up and they
ended up in this very nice.

Sort of That is amazing that it's that. That's the
right knee cap. That's my right ptella. I had the
worst kneeze he's ever operated on. That hole was actually
in my kneecap. It looks a bit like an old
artifact from Egypt or something.

So there's a hole in it that he's turned into
a hole in a necklace. So that's one of the kneecaps.
