It's been far too long, but it's the right time.
We are in such a good place. This is going
to be this is going to be really really exciting.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
This is really great, and it sounds old school Lenny
as well, blue electric light.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
All of it. It's it's you know, it's timeless. You know,
there is no time to any of this. And the
new music has been really energizing. It's been received so well.
You know, it's a wonderful gift I think as an
artist to get up there and play your classics, but
(01:45):
also play the new music and for the new music
to be received as well as the classic music.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
You're a couple of years younger than I am, and
I watch you on Instagram and I just see how
fit you look when you come to tour. Do you
have to train at all? Or is it you're already
up to speed?
Speaker 4 (02:05):
You know, I have this phrase, you know, if you
stay ready, you don't got to get ready, right, So
it's all about staying there. And that's that's mentally and
spiritually as well, not just physically. I try to keep
my body, my mind, my spirit in the best shape
possible so that I can be the best instrument that
(02:28):
I can be. I can tell you that I'm in
the best shape of my life in all of those areas.
So it's a good place to be.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
I follow you on Instagram and what I find these
days is that you can you know, it just feels
like you're part of your life. But I've often wondered
this and famous people. When you order Uber eats. Uber
eats has all your details. So if you're in New
York and you order Uber eats, they know all your details.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
You know, or you'd have someone to do it for you. Surely.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
I hate to say I don't have Uber eats in
my phone. I have Uber, but I don't have Uber eats.
But it's about just making the right choices and having
the discipline to put the things in your body that
make it operate at its optimity.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
You know. And I'm not working for Uber eats. People laither,
but you can get healthy food on uber eats.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
If you want to.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Sounds like big uber.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Now, but I just find it's very personal. Like if
you've got Uber, everyone has your details. So if you
get in an.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Uber a car, then you leave a review And I say,
Lenny Kravitz in my coast, you have to.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
Learn human be a bit of precious thing.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Do you still like the feeling you're still human? You
still live in the world.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
You can't be locked a white of course, of course.
I mean I'm in the street more than you think,
so you know I grew up that way. I thrive
off of being with people, as you'll see when I
get to Australia, you know you're going to find me
out and about because I want I want to be
with the people I want to you know, I want
(04:00):
to feel.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
It like specific addresses.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
To be careful when you say you want you want
people to feel it like the couarter, you might get
some storkers on your case.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
You don't want that.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Do you like life on the road? Do you do
you enjoy the process?
Speaker 4 (04:16):
I do? I do. It's uh, it's I don't know.
It's very comforting somehow. You know, you you have your
schedule and you you know, you wake up, you know
what you gotta do. You know what you're there for.
You stay focused because that's that's all you're doing. You know,
(04:36):
life on the road is not about me. It's about
all the beautiful people that support me and support this
music and that are coming to celebrate that. So I'm
just focused on being the best version of myself that
I can be, yep, because that's all that the people deserve.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
You know, well, we're gonna enjoy together, and we're enjoying
the linoisance of you.
