Speaker 1 (00:01):
And Amanda gam Nation.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Well.
Speaker 3 (00:03):
Since bursting onto the scene in eighty seven, Rob Schneider
has reigned supreme in a comedy world. His hapless turn
as a Jigglow and Juice.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
He wasn't a hapless tudent.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
He played a hapless Jigglow and Juice Bigelow, his unforgettable
transformation in The Hot Chick and my favorite film Grown Ups. Well,
now Rob Schneider is heading down Under for an Australian
tour and I'm thrilled to say he joins us now Hello.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Roll here he is. Hi.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
How are you guys? Good?
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Thanks, We're terrific. How are you going?
Speaker 3 (00:32):
We're thrilled that you're heading down under?
Speaker 4 (00:35):
I'm excited. Yeah, I mean, come on, that's the best.
I mean, I was there. I did it shows years ago,
and uh and I just I just remember what amazing
audiences there were and it's like, I gotta come back,
and I'm bringing my kids, my wife. They're excited about
the food. To be honest with you.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
We do have good food.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
The pies pie.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Yeah, the pies are good then. And also the beautiful
Sydney Harbor. We're gonna go there and Melbourne because they
have closed because there's so many Greek immigrants there that
they actually have clothes that fit me because I'm not
at all like a large and some of those stories. Yeah,
so that's that's that's a factual thing. But yeah, so
(01:19):
I'm excited. It's good and there's so many crazy things
happening in the world that I think we can we're
gonna have. We'll have a good show and a good
laugh at it, and hopefully nobody will take it too personal.
We we've all been through we're all in post traumatic
scandemic syndrome, so we all need like to laugh and
get back to normal and people like you know, and
then to kind of forgive everybody except the people that
(01:39):
don't forget need forgiveness or don't deserve it. Uh. But
but anyway, but well we'll we'll have a good time
and and uh and I'm really looking forward to coming
down there. I really do love Australia and some of
the you know, my favorite films and best comedians. Jim
Jefferies is a buddy of mine, buddy Monte Franklin is
a great comic. So it's just it's just great, you know.
So so I'm looking forward to.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Him, has things going straight side heading towards the election?
What's the vibe?
Speaker 4 (02:06):
Well, you know, I mean, if you listen to like
the Internet or you go on Twitter, people are losing
their minds. But if you just don't, everything's fine. They
always say, like this is the most important to life,
say in your life. They said that every four years.
It's kind of you know, I mean truthfully, like it
isn't the greatest choice. I'll be honest with you. You know,
we either have like you know, Joe Biden is a
corpse attached to a car battery, and then you have
(02:28):
like a guy, you know, Trump who may be president
in jail. You know. So I don't know what's going
to happen.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
I love the idea that you seem to have a
really fabulous cohort with Adam Sandler and Kevin James and
David Spade. Are you guys best buddies in real life
or just on the screen?
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Well we are. You know. The thing about it is
like we all look at each other like, listen, you
have nothing to be competitive with me about it anymore.
Because if you haven't achieved that you needed to achieve
by your late fifties, then then then you know, don't
bother me or don't bother us of us. So we're
all in a really good place with it. You know,
we've all had a good time and we do enjoy
each other's company, and we can crap on each other evenly,
(03:09):
you know. And and just David Spade seems to probably
be better at it Adam Sandler than then ups. But
it's fun. It's just a it really is like a
you know, some guys when you get together, there's just
nothing more common because we've all been through the wars together.
And so I think Adam wants to do he's doing
Happy Gilmore two, and then he's talking about doing Grown
(03:31):
Ups three, and so it's just and I know it's
just because he just uh is gonna pay us to
hang out with him for a few months, which I'm
fine with because.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
He's lowed it isn't he's got tons of money.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
No, he's absolutely, you know, he's got it. But he's
the highest paid actor in the world, which is which
is really a good friend to have.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
By the way, that's why I lean on a man.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
That's why I lean on a man because she gets
pots some money.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
John Zy wants everyone he meets to buy him a
jet scheme, what do you ask? What do you ask
Adam to buy you?
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Just the usual car?
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Every movie has he done?
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Has he done a rock and bought your car?
Speaker 4 (04:16):
He has? He bought me one hundred and fifty thousand
dollars car once. I'm still waiting for the second time.
You know, once you get that one time, you go like,
you know what, there's a chance I can get it again?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Because what would what would Adam say? I'm not made
to cars. I'm not made of cars.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
No, he I just I call him after each movement
I go, you know, I looked at the driveway this morning.
I didn't see anyone. I mean, I mean just I
just want to know what time so I could be home.
But you get the keys. You don't get one every movie.
One every movie. He just yells at me. That's his voice,
and he uses, by the way, you don't get one
(04:54):
everywhere gave you one? You know, is he trying to
be turned to like a guttural stream. He is the
funnest human being you can hang out with.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
I think that impersonation is almost as good as your
Sylvesters dealne one. When you're in Judge Dred, I thought,
when you break into that, that was my favorite. That
was my favorite one of your moments from the movie.
And I feel was that thank you.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
No, he did say to me, this better be funny.
I don't know what exactly he said, but he said
something like that. It was a you know, I appreciate him,
just anybody who hires me and pays me money. I
am very grateful too. So I don't know people people
like a lot of people complained about that movie. I
had a great time on it. I mean, that was
(05:39):
one of the most fun experiences doing an action movie.
So that's just alone. I mean it was like there
was nothing matter. I mean, I can't compare it to
anything else in my life. I just loved it.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
I think it still stands up. I watched it on
a couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
I think it's great, and I love Judge Dred as
the comic book.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
But I thought I thought it was pretty much what
the comic book was.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
I thought it held up all right. And the thing
about it, it's like there's always going to be people
who are going to be unhappy, uh with with something
from a from a comic book because it's more true
to the company. It's a comic books, not true. What
are you about?
Speaker 1 (06:16):
As long as I get my car, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Yeah, as lying as I know, I'm still waiting for
the new one.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah, well, you.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
Know because I just did a comedy. I did a
comedy special with Him's coming out the end of summer.
So I'm looking at my driveway right now.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Where where's that? We'll pray when we get at him
on and we'll say, where's Rob's car?
Speaker 4 (06:38):
The first one? I still have it. It's in my garage.
It's the first year of the Tesla left. Uh. I
kept it. I just wanted to autograph it next time
so then I can sell it.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
It's great to talk to you. You can do it.
Rob Schneider is going to be join us. I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (06:58):

Speaker 4 (07:11):
