Speaker 1 (00:21):
Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that
The Golden Bachelor is about to start. You know that
Sam Armitage is hosting The Golden Bachelor to give us
all the dirt. He is the woman herself same Hermitage.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
Hi, good morning boy, I got some dirt for you.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
You do have some dirt and.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Go spill that tea.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
There's a lot happening in this show. It's so fun,
you're gonna love it.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Can ask you back.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Because the females are obviously older, how do you protect
them from society's scrutiny? Because I could be imagining, but
I think younger women might be more robust when it
comes to people's opinion. It's harder for older women, I think,
to put themselves out there. Am I right in saying that?

Speaker 5 (00:59):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (00:59):
I think so.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
I think perhaps, well, I can only speak for myself,
but perhaps you become a little bit more sensitive to
criticism as you get from an esthetic point of view.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Perhaps, but we'll see how the show plays out.

Speaker 5 (01:10):
Because I think I think These women are spectacular.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
They're beautiful all in their own ways, but.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
They're also really powerful, Like this is an age group
who are really in their power. I love that we
are putting a spotlight on women in their fifties and sixties.
And Bear, our bachelor, is sixty one, so he's in
there too. But these women are so accomplished. This really
struck me filming this show how powerful they are.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
And he seems like the nicest, lovely fella.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
He's a great man. He is. He is a very
kind man. I think he's a very decent man.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
I've met two of his three sons, who he has
pretty much raised on his own as a single dad.
His wife died when the youngest boy was very young
of brain cancer, and so he has been a single
dad for fourteen years. And I can say have two
of the sons I've met, they are very decent young men.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
So he's done a good job.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
And Bear now finds himself in a position where he's like,
it's my time. Now, I've given my boys the last
fourteen fifteen years, and now it's my time to find love.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
And again he's very brave. He's going to do it
on TV.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Reading an article last weekend about you and Stella, and
you talked about the breakdown of your own marriage. You said, well,
we gave it a go, which I thought was very candid,
and then I was ready.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
I thought, you know, you should be with this guy.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Now as I was reading I'm going to.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I can't run off with the Golden Batchel.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I know, That's what I thought.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
But then as then you've they put that question to
you and you said, I'm surprised that no one mentioned
that before. So there's nothing there between you and he.
But he is a very spectacular person, as you are
a spectacular person.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Thank you, Jonesie.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Oh well, I stay, I'll come in any morning. You guys.
He's a good man. And yes, he is very handsome too,
which is nice.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Is it the same stuff where we see them pashing
off at the beach and all this kind of stuff
as we've seen another Batchel.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Look, I'm not going to lie to you.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
There is a bit of pashing, yes, but that's okay,
it's reality date.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Yes, and I think this is what's refreshing. I think
we need to see older people pashing off. It's pashing off.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
And sex isn't just for younger people.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
It's not It doesn't matter whether you're I mean, I'm
fifty next year.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
I hope that everything just doesn't stop at fifteen.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
No, none of us wanted to stop.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
And it doesn't matter.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
As a woman, I can only speak for being a woman.
But whether you're sixteen or you're sixty, you still get
butterflies when you see a man you've got the hots for.
You know, none of us prepare for getting old. I
look in the mirror now, I think, how did this?
How did I become forty nine? I still feel like
I'm eighteen.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Yes, and you still all.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Things that that stops.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
You'd hate to think that when you're that, all that
stuff dries up, because where's the fun?

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Can Why not use expressions like drying.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
It's always great to see The Golden Bachelor. It premiere
is tonight seven thirty on Channel nine and nine. Now.
I like to see you straddling the networks as well.
I like to see you over.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
There's the word. I didn't know what you were going
to say.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
It makes me happy.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
Thank you, Jonesie. It's lovely to be back. It's lovely
to be at nine. It's really it's been a good
fresh start for me, so I'm very pleased.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Good on you carry on, thank you,
