All listening.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
Yeah, I was reading that you were going to call
yourselves the sex maggots.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
It's a nice ring to it. Why did you change
your mind?

Speaker 6 (01:09):
Because that's a stupid name, and that that whole thing
was a joke that got out of control and it's
it's been stuck to us like a leech. Of the
last thirty something years.

Speaker 5 (01:20):
Like a maggot in fact, the other Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Well, then, you know, the Google dolls just sounds a
lot better.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I don't know, I don't know. You know what a
googoo doll is?

Speaker 3 (01:29):
You know the story the goo goo dolls? You guys
tell me, well, I know the story.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
We were hunting around for names, so we decided to
come up with the second worst name, yeah, which was
Google doles. It was in a True Detective magazine.

Speaker 6 (01:44):
It was that was my That wasn't That one was
my fault because I was digging through a stack of
True Detective magazines and in the back they had these
they had these advertisements for all this very strange stuff.
But you would order things like whoopee cushion. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
you know.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
And the X ray specs. We could see people, yes.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Or sea monkeys remember sea monkey monkeys?

Speaker 6 (02:06):
Of course, yes, so so yes, we just uh I
saw it and went, oh, Googo doles. And we had
a gig I think shortly after that, so so we
got stuck with it.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Yeah, what actually is a googoo doll? Is it like
a QUP doll?

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Yeah, it's like a little doll.

Speaker 6 (02:22):
It's like this little thing made out of rubber and
then you stick your fingers in the back of it
and you make it make.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Yes, that's it's absurd.

Speaker 6 (02:30):
But I have to tell you I love your guys
emojis or your avatars.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Oh that's that's how dollies were little were little dollies
like Ken and Barbie dolls.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
And genital free.

but yeah, I think it would have aged well.

Speaker 2 (02:59):

goes anywhere.

With He's one of those an extension of his body.

Yes, No, I'm just one of those really insecure musicians
wants everyone to know.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
That I'm a musician.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
But because you never when people are walking around with
a guitar, you're always thinking, oh, that's pretty cool, but
it's always guitarists.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Like you never see someone walking around with a bass guitar.

quite a sex.

out of desperation.
