this big deal, it's a wedding by the swamp. Lana Delray.
She's gotten married to a guy who runs Alligator Tours.
Who is Lena del Ray? Great question? You might know
her from these tracks.

And there was this one time. Now.

Yeah, and she's from like, she's a very successful singer.
And I think she's from a famous family. I think its
a dad of music producer or something. Yeah, she's a family.

She's from a very wealthy family. She's thirty nine years old.
Her real name is Elizabeth, and she sort of reinvented
herself fifteen or so years ago. She tried to make
it as a singer, but then she had all this
plastic surgery, fully reinvented herself, got a brand new look,
and she emerged as this kind of dream pop, sad singer, songwriter.
But she's really really talented and she's Grammy nominated sing

a songwriter. But she started taking this guy about a
month ago, or about a month ago was when we
first heard about him. Jeremy Dufriend, forty nine year old
Louisiana resident. He runs this alligator to a thing.

Is he kind of like a swamp guy or is
that just people's impression of him?

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Well, he does seem quite swampy. He definitely seems like
a swamp guy. Apparently there's evidence that Lana del Rey
did these alligator tours a couple of years ago, so
we know that they met maybe in twenty nineteen. She's
since visited the Louisiana New Orleans kind of area to
see him few times over the last few months, but
we don't have a lot of evidence of their relationship

apart from very blurry, dodgy kind of paparazzi photos. And
then on Friday, The Daily Mail shared this video of
what appears to be a swamp wedding. Lana del Ray
in a white dress, Jeremy alligator man in a suit
getting married at the swamp.

So they got married at the swamp.

They certain dicause I.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Saw some headlines that you know, were pretty much saying, oh,
she's married a regular person, but kind of making a
joke that is beyond regular. He's a bit like duck
dynasty kind.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I was going to say, yeah, there's regular, and then
there's people that operate tours on alligator swamps, and I
think that's probably a little bit further in one direction.
But the ex girlfriend of the swamp guy, the gator guy,
she's come out and she's she's wished them all the
very best. She dted him for twelve years. Not only that,
they were engaged for twelve years. And this guy's gotten
married to Lana del Ray after one month. Wow, poor Kelly. Well,

she's her name. She was engaged to him for more
than a decade. Of course, she admitted that she was
taken aback by the swamp wedding, but she sent her
well wishes to the happy couple. She said, it's clear
that Jeremy truly is in love with Lana. It's not fake,
she added in an interview with The Daily Mail, which
I'm sure is very legit, and she described him as
a very protective, hard working, manly man. He is deserving

of this blessing.

Do you think there's something in that the manly man.
It's like Taylor Swift going for a big, hunky guy
all these after all these ethereal soft men. There's something
about a protector.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Yeah, something about the dirty big guy that I think.
And Lana del Ray Yeah, I mean if you listen
to her music, it's very melancholy, a lot of heartache,
a lot of toxic relations with past. Yes, so maybe
she just wanted the simple swamp life. It's very Shrek
and Princess Fiona. But I worry about what's going to

happen to her music because it is beautiful, very sad.
I would say her kind of target demo would be
like the medicated millennial. And if she's going to be
really happy and fulfilled, I just worry we're not going
to get that negativity out of all the week.
