The death of former Reality TV star Noeline Donaher, best known for Sylvania Waters, appears to have gone unreported, following her death in May 2023.

recently because it's thirty years since the first reality TV
show in Australia, Sulvania Waters was broadcast and it went
game busters, didn't It kicked up a big stink in
Australia and overseas. We were horrified that we thought we'd
been stereotyped as this brash, bogan kind of family. And

in England they said, yep, that's everything we think Australia
is and we were horrified. It was quite an extraordinary show.
As you say, Noline has passed away, she was still
married to was it Mick No Laurie to Lorry Son
to Laurie when she passed, which was a year ago,
So it's a relationship that really lasted for over forty years.

I don't think so, but she they I think they
were the kind of couple that thrived on conflict. They
fought about everything. Remember this one.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
For God's sake, he can have a bloody birthday cosse
he came. But he's just saying it. They're all going
to bring friends and there going to be buddy a
million people.

They are probably like you you like you got like

But there's nothing wrong with that one. Look, there probably
was never anything wrong that it wouldn't write when I
wanted it to write. If you leave it for one
and play with it will probably work. I was pretty
damn sure from the time I have the first saw
Laurie that he was the one I was going to
go for.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I'm sad by that. I'm sad because behind reality TV
they are real people and the family has lost a
great matriarch.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
And not just that. The year ago there was a
lot of backlash against the show. As I said, so
Nolan at the time kind of took the bull by
the horns and she went on did a whole lot
of talk shows. She wrote her own book. Remember she
had a song, No Regrets for this song's very it's

something at need surprise for production.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
And I think Irene's character from Home and Away was
pretty much based on Nolane.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Well, you know, it's interesting because she was the first
reality star and she rubbed a lot of people up
the wrong way, as did that show. But she passed
away a year ago and she retreated from the limelight.
But hey, all those people who are famous stars on
those reality shows. You can be the biggest person in
the world, but you've got to live the rest of
your life somehow.

But it certainly drew attention to Savania waters Do you
know Savania's property prices in twenty twenty two when I'm
