vacs do they pass the pub test?

Well? A story has been published saying that a Rumba,
which is one of the brands, had taken a photo
of a woman on the toilet and it appeared on Facebook.
Apparently these things have the capacity to take photos that
has just been stored in a cloud somewhere, and the
company has confirmed that those images were taken from one
of the robots. In twenty twenty.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I knew they had senses, but I guess the senses
are a little campras.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
To terrifying be aware. But secondary to that, it was
the big promise, having a robot that could clean your home.
Lots of people at the time bought those robovacs, and
since then I've seen footage of animals with their tails
stuck in them, people having to roll up all their
carpets to be able to use them. I don't know
anyone who still uses one anymore.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
I just find that the capacity is not big enough
to suck.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Up all the dirt, no and all the dirty I've
been doing your push ups inside.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Although I do I do it. You know, I've a
mate he's got one of those pool cleaners. But it's
the tank one. Have you seen that's like a little caterpillar,
like a tank that goes under it.

I could watch that all day. That is great, this.

Kind of stuff around your house. Does it live up
to the promise? Are you still enthralled with your robovac? Robovacs?

one for years and years. She still has it. Well,
me one, I wouldn't be without the greatest invents.

My daughter has one and that goes every day vacuums
in the second day at mops. But they went away
and I was house dog sitting and one morning and
the thing starts up. Anyway, she actually was speaking to
me to the robo vacuum, and I'm sitting there and
I'm thinking, where's this voice coming from. I said to her,

was that you talking through the robovacs? She goes, yeah,
it was me. I could see you. Yeah, they're good.
You know, when we're going to stop worrying about appliance
just taking photos, it's the well to come to a
scary place.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Oh, they definitely past the pub test.

Think when you buy a robot back you have to
be careful where the company's own, because it's actually Chinese
own government who funds a lot of the brands and
who are collecting your data. Data is the new coal.

over the camera, well.

Then it's not going to see where it's going.
