Speaker 1 (00:01):
And Amanda jam Nation.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Let's get on down to the Jonesy no matter arms
for the pub test and today it's a done deal.
Apparently Australian taxpayers to fork out six hundred million dollars
for P and G to join the NRL.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
The NRL has joined forces with the government to make
this happen. It's going to cost, as you say, six
hundred million dollars sixty million dollars a year over ten years.

Speaker 5 (00:28):
Do we need a new team?

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Do we want a new team?

Speaker 5 (00:30):
I like the idea of it to you expand or
you die. That's what happens.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Okay, Well there's a lot of people who say we
could use that money here for our football. So how
do you feel P and G joining the NRL?

Speaker 5 (00:40):
But it past the pub test?

Speaker 6 (00:42):
If we need the other team in the compass, no problem,
but not at that costs.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
That's ridiculous.

Speaker 6 (00:46):
That's putting the flag with twenty three million dollars on
the Harbor Bridge. It's just stupid.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
I think it's a great thing cause it's a treat
why of keeping China out because we have the rugby
league there, we don't have to worry pretty much Army
and Air Force and all that type of thing. You know,
we keep the finger in the pie and keep the
popping U guinions on side. You know, it'll be fantastic
for everybody.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
No, I think it's responsible spending six hundred million dollars.
I mean that money could be used to you know,
for age care or public housing or like I said,
fixing up our own grounds and then facilities for.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
Australians Chinese thing. That's it's interesting.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
This is a new way of doing diplomacy.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
Sport to be on our side, and that's diplomacy is interesting.
That's I like that answer.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
