Speaker 1 (00:01):
And Amanda Jamnation down to the jonesy demand of arms
for the pub test. Filled me a crying kid at
a game? Does it pass the pub test? Let me explain.
Footage of a young Carlton fan crying in the stands
during his team's loss to North Melbourne has left AFL
fans divided. This out went to where that's what it.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Looks like.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
And that is a summation and what's happened for the
Blues for that poor young fella.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
I'm on Fox Sports side. This is just part of
the game. That's the tapestry. I felt for the kid,
But other people are blowing up you shouldn't be filming
that kid?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Well then, what's interesting though these days and things are different,
and no, I don't think people are saying the kid
shouldn't have that emotion, not at all, because that's part
of loving your team, to go with the wins and
the losses. What is hard, though, is that these days
you can become a meme. A kid can be mocked
one shot on the foot ege it can last four years.
So the film, the people who are filming, the camera

(00:54):
men and women are always looking for a story. The
crying kid is going to be a story. But it's
not just a moment in time anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
But these days, as Andy Warhol said, our five minutes
or fifteen minutes of fame, everyone has a story.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Yeah, but these days you're fifteen minutes of fame can
last yet your whole life. So filming the crying child
of the game, does it past the pub test?

Speaker 4 (01:14):
It can be one point and unfortunately sometimes it doesn't
go the way you wanted to go. They just got
to get used to it, these young ones coming through.
It's too sot.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I think they should just let him maybe his moment
moan kids and kids like you know, made a bit
of recognition and that too. And I can't see what
the harm.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
Is in a way it does.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
I mean, they're they're in a public stadium, they're going
to be on film.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Everybody's filming everything everywhere now.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
But why pick on a little kid, you know, to
torture him? That's not fair. You know, didn't get him
at a good time, did it? To be honest, everyone
needs to heart up these days. It's the kid. Everyone
everyone has a cry, honestly, old brought up the hard day.
Give us some of cry about.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Back to the good old day, the good old days
wh got built every up out.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Where all are heartbeat from a meime. Just think about
that as you go about your day.
