Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jersey and Amanda gem Nation the Jersey manner answer the
pub test, Prince Harry asking for security. Does it pass
the pub test?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
This is the second time I think there's been a
legal challenge for this. He has lost a legal challenge
over the levels of security he and his family are
entited to have while they're in the UK. He has
had done an interview after this, saying that he deserves
that because no matter even though he has stepped away
as a working royal, he'll always be a member of
the royal family.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
You're no longer a working royal, a change in your status.
Do you not accept that from the court?

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Well, my status status hasn't changed the con change. I
am who I am. I am part of what I'm
part of, and I can never escape that. My circumstances
will always be the same.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah, because if he went to the UK he would
be mobbed and people dislike him now in the UK
as well, so more reason for him to have security.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
But he is no longer working for the Royal family.
He should pay his own That's what people are saying.
He got a one hundred million dollar Netflix deal, twenty
million dollar Spotify idea, he's a man with a lot
of money, rather than the tax payer is paying for this.
Should he pay for it himself? Harry asking for security.
Does it pass the pub test?

Speaker 5 (01:15):
No, definitely not. He's stepped down and away. Not just
stepped down, he stepped away from the family, and I
believe he's started his own life and get his own security.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
I can't believe I'm saying this. I actually agree with
Jonesy on this one. I think he's been treated appallingly
by the British people and it's probably why he wants
it over there, because there's so many who think that
he's betrayed them, and all he's done is try and
live his life. It's not an awful thing being born
into the inter Royalty.

Speaker 6 (01:44):
I'm against it. He broken their security protocols with all
the information he's spread. He badmouths the Royal met fairly
to the wazoo and it's not even their decision if
he gets security or not. Such a special committee anyway, No.

Speaker 7 (01:56):
It doesn't pass the pub test. This is really simple
government agency that pays for UK Police to protect people
in official capacities. He doesn't have difficult capacity anymore, so
why should the tax payer pay for his role. It's
not a personal vendeener against him. That's simply tax payer
money and where.

Speaker 5 (02:13):
Should it go.

Speaker 8 (02:14):
It totally passes the podcast, but not because of Harry's vulnerability,
but because I has connection with the King. I mean,
he's a very influential power or Saul and if something
happened to Harry or his grandkids, he may well be compromised.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, Harry pays for his own security if he goes
to Africa or all those He's gone to some many
dangerous places around the world. This is just in England
that he thinks they should pay.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Thank you for all your calls.
