Well, this is a man, he's ninety three, he's just
he's got a young son. He wants to have another
child as well. This is how it played out on
the news.

He could be Australia's oldest dad, proving families come in
all shapes, sizes and ages. At ninety three years, young
doctor John Levin says age is just a number. He
still hits the gym and works as a GP five
days a week. Doctor John had three children, He's got

ten grandchildren, one great grandchild and has recently become a
father again to young Gabby. How does it feel to
be maybe the oldest new dad in Australia?

Feels great?

Speaker 1 (00:50):
He feels great, pretty good.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
He's ninety three. As we said, he's been with this
wife for ten years. He's previously made for fifty seven years,
which is why got a gaggle of other children. He
wants to be around for another ten years and he
thinks he can. He's a top physical health for a
ninety three year old. How do you feel, elderly dads?
Does it past the pub test?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Everyone deserved? You know the opportunity to become a parent,
no matter what age that would be. But yeah, obviously
if you're having kids that late in the game, though,
you probably won't be around too long to see him
grow up. That's the same thing.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
No, I don't think it does toss the pup test.
I think there's a time when you know you've got
to get say okay, enough enough, especially if you've got
so many grand children and great grandchildren. I think you
know you're not going to be around for long. So
to me, it doesn't past the top test. Have another young,
enjoy them, and then enjoy the rest of your life.

Look to each their home. I don't think a part
of the pub test I had I thought I was
an elderly dad. I had a child at forty five,
and it's tough. It's tough to have to run around
with a child at my age fifty seven. Now that
a ten year old, and I'd so hate to think
what homemade that ninety three is doing. So yeah, I
