Speaker 1 (00:01):
And Amanda Jemnas down to the Jonesy de Mata arms
for the pub test sharenting. Does it pass the pub test?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Scharenting is a blend of sharing and parenting, and today
or this week, we're going to be finding that kids
under the age of sixteen are going to be locked
out of social media accounts. But what information are you
sharing about your children online?

Speaker 1 (00:21):
The Irish e Safety Commission has released a thought provoking
at It shows a young girl walking through the local
shopping mall with mum and dad and complete strangers coming
up and asking you about her personal life.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Hey do you know that man?

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Happy BIRTHDAYVA eight already looks like it's a ball with
your friends. I see you're back playing football Thursday's Eva.
Hope your dad picks you up on time for once.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Every time you share their life online, you risk sharing
their personal data with the world. Pause before you post.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
More than eighty percent of children are said to have
an online presence by the age of two. How do
you feel about this? Sharenting? Does it pass the pub test?

Speaker 5 (01:08):
No, not at all. I have po children and they've
never been online once, and I think that if you
have to share your children to get approval from the public.
You've got to be crazy. They've creeps everywhere out there,
and people need to learn that. You know, there's other
ways to share it photo right to your family, not
on social media.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
No, I don't think you should share too many pictures
of your kids online because you just don't know who's
out there these days, too many widows. It's a scary place.
And like, if you want to share something with a family,
you can just make like a family message group and
send pictures that way. So it's not open to the public.

Speaker 6 (01:45):
Oh, definitely not. I think you're putting yourself and your
kids in danger. People know where your kids get to school.
The creeps out there, they're.

Speaker 7 (01:53):
Looking, they're watching. So you don't want to be putting
your kids out there all the time. Don't put your
kids online.

Speaker 6 (02:00):
Parts of haf taste there you go.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
It's a hard no from everyone. A.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
We're going to be talking to Meg Coffee, a social
media expert, about the changes for the under sixteens, in
the next half hours.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
