about Callum Hole. He was on I'm a Celebrity, Get

people love them. He's Welsh.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Apparently, Sky Wheatley, everyone in radio now should be quaking
in their boots because she is the new, the new
one that all the radio executives love. She's the she's
the go to, she's what everyone needs to be.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
What are we going to do? Like first it was
Abby Chatfield.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Yeah she was she was going to be the big one,
and now it's going to be the Sky get up early.
That was the problem.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
So what's going to happen to people like us?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Brendan?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
We are the dinosaurs? Well, speaking of dinosaurs, do you
remember when Callum Hole was on I'm a Celebrity, Get
Me out of Here, the Australian version, just the last
iteration of the show, and we put him on this
segment of maybe should keep your pie hole shut because
here he is with Sky having a bit of a chat.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
What's the biggest word? You know, if you do impress
the impressed me with the biggest video just coolstein.

It was what people do that do just the things
to find fossils of dinosaurs for the synthesis, Is that
what it is? I think? So?

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yeah, those they came first and second, and our jobs
are under threat.

for you people, that's what you're going to get.

Speaker 1 (01:25):

I'm a celebrity. He apparently didn't quite understand the concept
of relatives. He said, I've never this is what he
said to Khan own that he was also an arm
a celebrity. He said, I did too. He said, I've
never understood family trees. I don't know how people become
your cousin. And then he said this about butterflies.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I've learned so much from this experience already.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I'm just like, I'm so much smart already.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
You learn how butterflies me, Yeah, I've learned the most.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I didn't know that butterflies came from caterpillars.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
No, I didn't know that. Yeah, No, that's I don't
think many people would know that.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Yeah, I don't think many people would know that the
American voice in there was Frankie Munis was also a
contestant on the show, and Callum asked Frankie whether tomatoes
were available in the United States.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I think America is the home of the tomato.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Well, the rise and rise of Callum hole he you know,
people are throwing shows at him because he's so loved
the kids. Let's just say he came to fame earlier
than I'm a celebrity, because he was on Love Island,
Australia in twenty twenty two. This is an exchange he
had about dairy products.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
What's the difference be in butter and margarine?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
It's not dairy.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Butter is better than margarine.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Margarine isn't dairy.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
It's like plant based margarine.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
It's not from a cow.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
It's not the difference with butter and margarine. I think
we worked out today that margarine comes from a cow
and butter comes from milk. Or because milk is a cow.
How can any of it come from a cow because.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
It's milking butter it's dairy. Butter is dairy.

Yeah, obviously cars that was considered dairy was your guts or.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
A butter is off cream? Basically is that right?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Is obviously he comes from a caw. He starts with
a car, he comes milk. Then it probably goes uh,
it turns into your gut, then it probably turns into
ice cream, and then it probably just turns into geez.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
There's something charming about people who aren't ashamed by being ignorant.
I mean, he's owning it and it's working for him.
He's been offered television shows. Brendan.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Yeah, he could be doing it.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
And he will be. He will be. He's the next
big thing. Don't scrub your face. They should hear you
do maths. You'd get all the shows in the wall.

Speaker 3 (03:57):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
