He revolutionized exercise and fitness. And I heard the podcast
about him searching for Richard Simmons. I think it was
called because it became inclusive in recent years. He passed
away at the age of seventy six.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Also Dr Ruth Westheimer.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Known as Doctor Ruth. She was ninety years old. She
ninety six. She revolutionized the way people spoke about sex.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
She was all about sex.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
I do believe in let's make love instead off let's
make war.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah, right on.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Sister started there. Shannon Dowerity, she was only fifty three.
She's had cancer. As we know. She was from Well,
she was in Charmed, she was in nine o two
one oo. She's had a long battle with cancer.

Remember we caught up with her a few years ago.
We had a great chat. She was here for one
of those comic Colm things. Did you have a cape
of Brenda Walsh doll?

I don't.

No, I never.

Got one, but I signed them quite a bit. I'm
horrible I don't. I don't keep any memorabilia at all.
I'm I don't have like a vanity wall with you know,
magazine covers or dolls or or any of that. So
I don't think I would ever buy one.

a wonderful colleague of Oounds Sparks. We will talk about

to Charlie Fox, our old boss who worked with him
for many years. But what a fabulous guy Ronnie was.
He really was impressive and his career had spanned so
many years over the Australian radio landscape.

he was everything.
