our social media guru and you're the one who goes
through all our things when I'm not.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Yeah, So the response to your move to the drive
time slot, it's it's been huge, really, lots of you know,
emotional messages. Other people are really happy for you, and
then other people saying that they'll need to change their
routine as well.

Speaker 3 (00:54):

This is the thing.

We announced it on our show this time last week
that we're going to be moving to the Drive show
next year. We're still in this position this year, but
we want you all to become drive listeners as well
as breakfast listeners. We want to make a show You're
all going to laugh.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah, we kind of rushed into this. I was looking
at like that old trail bike that I've got sitting
in my garage. I thought I'll get round to it eventually,
and I was just thinking, we'll come to the end
of the year and then we'll announce it. But then
it got blabbed about the place, and then we.

Had we felt we had to say something on the front.
Other people were writing about it, and we thought we
would rather ourselves.

A person comes up to you in the shop and says,
what's this about you guys going to afternoons? Then you know, well,
the cat's out of the back.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Yeah, a lot of people have said that they're going
to change their routine. They're also excited that you get
to get up at a more civilized hour, so that's
an advantage as well. So yeah, we've got a lot
of people saying that they're going to join in on
their way home.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Lovely, that's what we want, and we listen in the
morning and then stay there and listen with us on
the way home.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
I did a drive show many years ago with a
fife box for a nanosecond before I came here, and
I did a drive show before that when I was
at Triple im in Brisbane's.

It is a different energy.

Before, No, but I'm looking forward to the different on
air energy. In the morning, we're setting up for the day.
We're telling people what's happening, news stories, things that have
broken overnight, that kind of stuff. I think on the
way home and this is why we would like you
guys to help us construct what the show? What the
show you'd like it to be? What do we take

it's the end of the day. You go from on
my way home or home I've picked up the kids,
whatever it might be.
