Speaker 1 (00:01):
And Amanda jam Nation.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
We stravel a lot of platforms and it's a lot
to keep up with.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
That's why we have our social media Dipstick Digital Jennami.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Mess Jenna and she loves cats, talk snapcha.

Speaker 4 (00:15):
She's a social media girl. We like to call her
social media.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
See what you did there? So, Jenna, what has touched
a nerve this week? Yes, socials.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yeah, Well, it's actually been two weeks since we were here,
so a lot has happened in the two weeks. We've
seen a mixed response to Taylor Swift's new album, The
Life of a Show Girl.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
You're a Swifty? Did you take it personally?

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Well?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the album,
but I still love her and I will still continue
to listen to it, and other Swifties have felt the
same as well. So that's been very mixed. But the
biggest story actually involves us. So during our break there
was news that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman had divorced,
and back in September last year, we actually had Keith

(01:04):
in for a chat, and.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
You know, so it makes me so uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
And like normally, our interviews with Keith are fun and
you know, casual and made back and he's always willing
to talk about Nicole. It's always fun, but this one
was a bit different. Anyway, before we get into that,
this video that I decided to upload has reached over
fifty million views across social fifty million around the world,

(01:30):
around the world, so it's been picked up by some
really huge media outlets. We've had Shameless Podcast, People, Magazine, Hello, Magazine,
Page six, just Jared and even better, it's reached an
even bigger visual audience on Entertainment Tonight and the Nerve
with Maureen Callahan.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
And what are they all saying?

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Oh, we'll see Keith Urban's awkward answers to questions about
now ex Nicole Kidman going viral as fans resurfaced that
interview on Australian Radio's Jonesy and Amanda. The singer seemingly
knew his love story was over at the time of
the taping.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
So that was Entertainment Tonight. And then we have the
Nerve with maure In Callahan.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
So we are going to watch and listen to Keith
on Australia's Gold one oh one point seven. It's the
Jonesy and Amanda show from September twenty twenty four, so
this is over one year ago. And when she is
brought up. When Nicole is brought up, Keith looks visibly
visibly uncomfortable as listen and if this is the host

(02:39):
Amanda who's speaking here, she is running roughshod over all
of the signals that Keith. I mean, these are like
nine to one one signals Keith is giving you.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
At the time, I remember thinking, stop talking, Well, you're
about to hear the clip. But let me say what
I was trying to do. I wasn't trying to run
Russia are women are? What I was trying to do
was it was an awkward moment, and he would yeah
whatever I was thinking, If you just answer the question
and say yeah, isn't it interesting, and then we can
move on. But there were just giant gaps. I just
wanted to get to the end so we could move on.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
I wish we had the clinch ometer on for my
botybid because it was.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Here it is speaking of your amazing love story with Nicole.
You met a Gooday Australia. Is that what it was called?
If you hadn't both been there that day, would your
paths somewhere have inevitably crossed, or maybe this incredible life
story wouldn't have happened. I think it would. Are you

(03:35):
believer in fate or do you think it's to Australians
it would have happened, No idea.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Awkward.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
I just often think that that if you weren't at
that event, maybe you don't have the same friendship group,
it may never have happened.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
You know, it's the universe anyway, So.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
You're like a cop, like you must shine a light
in In my defense here, he and Nicole have spoken
about and I'm a big fan of both of them.
I've spoken about their relationship a lot. He writes songs
about Nicole, he talks about her on a lot of
programs and on our program previously. So it wasn't out
of line to embark on that question. And he just

(04:16):
left us hanging. This is radio, those awkward silences. I
was trying to get him to give us a sentence
and then we can move on. True he used to
kiss her on the red carpet.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Well. Actually a lot of the comments were actually in
support if you, Amanda, with many not appreciating the way
that Keith responded to your comments and then others being
like jons he sounded done.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
With his She could have moved it along. You didn't
said he doesn't want to talk about his missile.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
I should have said that, and I.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Would have said, well, he's commodified the missos. Here we are.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
On another note, Our Robert Irwin and Jonesy Dancing with
the Stars comparison video.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Is both jopata very well.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
So this week you both dance the charterer. So I decided, well, it.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Was so how many years ago was it for Jones
He didn't do it this week.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
It feels like yesterday, It was like ten years ago,
something like that. So I decided to put a poll
on our So she was asking who did better, and unsurprisingly,
sixty nine percent of people said Robert.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
But there was some that said Jones.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
I think out of sympathy they felt sorry for you.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
That was my best dance.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Well, a lot of people said that you stuck to
the charch our style more than Robert.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Wow, scarily, it was my first dance.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
What no, because Marie said you're looking stiff as a board,
but solid improvement from Jonesy was.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
My first one.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
So many time said you've improved.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Now I got worse because your practice and all I
did was practice the first one and the rest of them,
and that I didn't expect to stay for as long
as I did.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Well since because since this segment started, actually, as you know,
our online audience continues to grow and people are still
not realizing that Jonesy looks the way he does.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
So meaning in a positive way.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Susie actually direct message to us and said confession. For
quite a few years, I thought Jonesy was Fitzy from
Nova FM. When I would hear Jonesy's dulcet tones and
motorbike talk over the airwaves, it would match Fitzi's visual aesthetic.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Do people think jones is more handsome than they picture it?
I can't tell whether they're saying they're disappointed, you're not Fitzy.
It seems to be. It seems to be the dancing end.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
And then others are just like, oh, he's weird. Well,
it's the truth.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
You want the truth? You think I pepper people with questions, Ryan,
I think we just defended.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Now, why don't you pepper him with questions?

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Tell us about your Fizzie
