Speaker 1 (00:15):
Ser good.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Now, if there's a person who knows about unhealthy habits,
that's me.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
We have a problem, don't we.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Yeah, I saw that article. Please explain. Apparently seventy five
percent of people are overweight and only five percent of
people eat enough vegetables. That doesn't surprise me.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Lest Well, I said earlier.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I don't think I've ever had five serves and vegetables
in one day in my entire life. It sounds unrealistic
to me.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
I mean it is hard to get and at Sometimes
fresh fruit and vegetable can be quite expensive, depending on
the season spent, depending on natural disasters. Remember when bananas, well,
I've got a banana.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Yeah, avocados.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Unless you go to Spudsheds. Sludshed's very good.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
He seems to have the connections.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
But I would recovery. I would argue that it was
more unhealthy in our ear my ear.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I would argue it wasn't because there was we didn't
meet so much processed food.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Well, can I just say something here. I think you
might be a bit of column a bit of column
D like you might be right the about, but I
reckon people were more active, Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
More active active.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
So money for petrol, that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Me a lifestyle factor, think not just what you're putting
in your body and rules.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Let me make this case to you. Okay, you want
to talk unhealthy, try lighting up a dart on a
plane in the air next to someone eating chicken Kiev
watching crocodile dundee on that sixteen screen. Those are the
glory Day's legs.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Where you just get one screen every sort of ten
seats that you all looked.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
At up on the I saw online the other day
some video of Malcolm Bly and the North Melbourne VFL
team three quarter times while the coach was given which
would have been Ron Barrassi, I guess back then given
him the instructions for the fourth quarter and he's sitting
there having a drag.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
There'll be people listening who won't believe that you can
smoke on planes. And you know what about the best
the smoking sections were at the back of the plane. Right,
and they had that had that curtain between smoking and
non smoking that protected everywhere.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Was gonna ridiculous at the cinema back in Clarence day.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
And the arms armress had the Austrasia and now they
become like what do you call it, fidget toys, they're still.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I'm surprised to see that smoking is on the up again.
First time in thirty going up again.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, I saw someone blamed immigration.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
That was nice, one of the pology off the curve
one of the politicians did.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Really, yes, I'm not saying nothing.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
It's a cultural difference.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Back in how you're right, Okay, seventy five percent of
men smoked when I grew up, Yeah, seventy five percent
and the other twenty five percent we're just lighting for
someone else. What about the cars, let me just go
with the cars no air bags? You know, if your
mum break too hard to put her arm out, yeah, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, we'd.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
All stand up behind the you know, the bench seat
in the kings. Yeah, I'm so flat, and the wind
screen if mum break too hard, and if you.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Had to, you just go get in the back care Well,
that's right, member station wagon, so you could get six
or seven kids in the back part of her station wagon.
It was unhealthy.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
I do a lot in the mining industry. Run imagine
what about the mining industry before you boots and helmets
and high vis and sunstreen just none of that. No,
it's just got to I reckon. I would say that
we're healthier now.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Okay, I just think we're less active. So we're looking on, he.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Say otherwise, Yeah, it's.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Where do we go? And what about parenting? Was a
lot simpler too, because you just got your kids and said,
ride our kids out the door in the morning, but
when it gets dark, come back.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Well, there were no devices, and you know, the cartoons
only went to a certain time, and then there was
nothing to do except go outside.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
And yeah, and if we didn't need our dinner, we
went to bed hungry, no choices, choice, We didn't get
an option.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Too many bloody options now, so we've gone soft and
had it for breakfast.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
And then they invented stranger dangers. Remen when that came in,
they invented it stranger danger, and then we started keeping
our kids in a bit. Oh, hang on, maybe we
shouldn't be sending him out. So and so got kidnapped,
and we used to drink.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Out of the hose at someone else's house.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yes where that.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Has been, any hose in a storm, no water bottles,
and all that point

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Anyway, all right, so we sort of we haven't really,
we're not sure before we agree to disagree, Yeah, okay,
