Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's talk four and what a weekend. He's a happy man.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Yeah, yeah, morning guys, a lot of happy going on
in the studio this morning.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
What's going on? I'm still singing this team song, you know,
the play.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
We've even changed the little popper thing on your microphone
to red and black.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Well done, buddy.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
The whole of it, the whole of birth, except for Clermont,
is going red and black because we're coming and if
we if we could get past Clemont, we play your team's.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Per so we do, and then then we play.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
We think unless you beat South Fromantle.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
To dream we beat South from Mantle on the weekend.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Just straight into the ground.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
We're straight into the ground again.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Can it happen the first time since nineteen seventy seven?

Speaker 2 (00:49):
And I was at that game?

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Were you yes?

Speaker 1 (00:51):
The baby?

Speaker 4 (00:53):
That was our first finals win per footy club since
in twenty eight years, since ninety ninety seven.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Is it possible that we could meet in the ground?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
We could? There is.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
We can't dare to look ahead because there's so many steps,
but just imagine that last What a show it would be.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I'm coming, I'm coming.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
If we don't, I'd have to go there with you
and sit in between the two.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
I felt like, you know that bishop in the caddy
shack if you've seen the and the bishop is playing
that game of his life in the rain and lightning.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I felt like that guy yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
We congratulations. I'm very happy for you and for the Royals.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Thank you so much. We might play the team song
a bit later on.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
But the biggest highlight overnight, apart from the Mighty Demons.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Spiler, if you don't know the result, is.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Do they watch it on replays? Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
They do?

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Oh sorry, okay, we're going to talk about Oscar Piastre winning.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Well done, insane suspense over here.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
The Dutch grind so excited when I got in.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Six gram Grand Morning victory umble. He's leading by thirty
four points, so.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Miles ahead, a nice little buffer there.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
And eight laps ago his teammate and his title rival,
Lando Norris.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
His engine blew up. Yeah, in the same car.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah that's not good.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
It's not like I said.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I said, I hope it's Orlando problem, not a McLaren problem.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I reckon there was some something dodgy going on.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
No, I would heaven forbid.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
We did suggest that maybe you know, if they knew
it was about to go. They might have pulled them
in and said swap.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Cars those days ago. Brother, this guy Piastre, he's the
real deal.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
I mean, could there be an Australian F one champion
first time in forty five years?

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Yeah, well, we're going to hear some audio on a
sect from Mark Webber. He's basically his manager. I suppose
it is mentor and he talks about Alan Jones and
Daniel Riccardo and Jack Brabham. I mean Jonesy and Brabham
won before, haven't they. But Norris was like a broken
man sitting on the side of the track when.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
His car blew up.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
And so it's a defining moment, finding moment of the
championship battle, no doubt for the.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Broken. And how is this incredibly?

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Oscar has the highest conversion rate from pole to winning
in f one history.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Mate, he is an absolute start. And this is Mark
Webber talking about He never talks about him normally.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
Oh magnificent. You know, it's obviously he drove so well today.
I think that, you know, I mean, as you know,
I don't do any interviews about him, but I think
today big day for Stray motorsport. I think that you know,
we've had you know, Daniel win plenty obviously, Jack and
aj oscar now having this success so early in his
careers a real credit to him. He's put a huge
amount of work in executing beautifully and you know the

(03:40):
team have done such a.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Good job as well.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
That might be the most animated I've ever heard barkber
exactly right.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
He's a bit like that, isn't he understated quickly, I'll
touch on some footy. We'll do the afl W after
the break. But docors tickets basically the games is sellout
on Saturday night. Yeah, I'm not surprised, and they just
they just went like hotcakes. In fact, I think the
lines dropped down. It dropped out a few times. And
it's tough for people because you can't get your own

(04:08):
seats that you normally used to sitting, and so you
sit somewhere else and sometimes it's higher up in the stadium,
if you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
People have been thirty year members, different people, Yeah, exactly
might miss out.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
Even so.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
That is going to be massive.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
A lot of the Dockers boys at our game on
the weekend, actually, Jordan Clark and Sharpie and we're supporting
the Demons. And the news is that Corey Wagner, who's
had a great year, really great year, his season is
Ivy needs surgery on a torn peck. He's peck muscle,
so he's he definitely won't be playing for the rest
of the season. But they looked in good Nick and

(04:41):
I feel like they can beat the Sun you reckon Saturday.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
They can do it. Yes, then we can get stupid.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Maybe then we can start, because they've got Geelong Brisbane
after that, Geelong or Brisbane the loser of that game.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
I'll tell you that the Demons.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Who had dropped into the her Football Club is having
some success after a long.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I don't think you even realized that you're singing the chip.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
I'm so happy and so happy for our long suffering fans.
And the Royals have been onto lease and the break
as well. So he'll be hosting the grand final event,
no doubt. Look, let's look not afl M was no
afl M, as they say, the men's camp on the weekend,
but there was afl W and the West Coast Eagles.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
No, let's go there first.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
They trailed by ten points with six minutes to go
and all days since Kilda had conceded only two goals
for the match.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
And what did the Eagles do. They booted four.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Goals in a row in six minutes to snatch the
game over there. It was unbelievable that Ella roberts she
is an absolute superstar.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
That that girl is going to go turn around, very
long around.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
But yes, down at free obviously, I was busy at
a good grosser Park's playing golf like the Bishop from Caddyshack.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
And Freeo.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
They coughed up the biggest ever losing margin. That's massive
and the highest score ever.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
I really feel for them against the reigning champs.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
So they've had to play the two biggest teams Brisbane
and then North Melbourne the ruse one eighteen six, one
hundred and fourteen to two to two fourteen.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Now that's a percentage booster right there.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Yeah. Wow, Emmero just school.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
I think she got hurt as well, so I think
they'll readjig and go a lot better.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
But that must have.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Been that's a that's a real walloping that one.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Meantime, the Eagles on their postseason trip. Where are the
Eagles gone to Thailand?

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Oh God? What could go wrong in Bangkok, that's right.
They hangover what happened to?

Speaker 4 (06:42):
What's that light? What happens in Bangkok stays in Bangkok. Well,
Harlie's there too, and guess who else? Oscar Allen?

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Oh he's gone with them. Farewell to her.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Yeah right, I found that a little unusual, but that's
I guess that's God and young men nowadays.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
As long as they don't lose him up there.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
Now, great man, if you got a little bit of
audio here, because there was an incredible Premier League game
last night. Liverpool beat Arsenal, the two top teams, Liverpool
the champions. They beat in one kneel and there was
the goal of the season thus far, a rocket from
twenty five meters from a free kick.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Have listened to the commentator here, everyone.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
Else has taken their leaves.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
Heck, yes, it is something special.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Oh don't us like special?

Speaker 4 (07:30):
A quite sensational goal for Liverpool.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
The day even you felt it needed something like that.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
He's a great dune as he says special, very differently
to Bruce McAvaney.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Doesn't he to be fair that their their goals are
so few and far between that you know they deserved it.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
I did see that on TV though, really what what
a kick really? That blokehead?

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Where else was steel Springs?

Speaker 4 (07:55):
You'd love to have someone say that someone I didn't
pay attention you guys, hang, I'm not the chemistry this way,
you guys between you two eight Sorry, you guys are
getting on too well. It's unbelievable anyway. The Ice Hockey
Finals Perth one Friday. They got knocked out on Saturday
by Canberra and then the Melbourne Ice to you where

(08:15):
producers chagrin if that's the word, took the title yesterday
over the.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Melbourne Ice rot a lot of thought into that name.
We can get it.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
And in case you missed it, the Demon's upset the
Sharks and the Elation Final first finals winning twenty eight
years five eight hundred people.

Speaker 1 (08:40):

Speaker 4 (08:42):

This was recorded by the President.

Speaker 3 (08:49):

Speaker 4 (08:54):
It's about three hundred in the room.
