Speaker 3 (00:32):
Elliott, Good morning. A bit of an abomination on the weekend,
losing to the Bulldogs by ninety four points. It was
far from my deal. Was in fact the worst loss
of the season.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Ah.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
It's credit to the Bulldogs. They certainly wanted that win.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Yeah they did, didn't Yeah they did? Yeah, ye, but
they look good, I mean way through a lot in
terms of pressure at them, Like our pressure rating was
quite good. But yeah, just our fundamentals, we're just not
up to scratch.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
Sadly, just couldn't do it two weeks in a row. No,
because the effort was there.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Yeah, oh absolutely, And I think that's kind of where
we're trying to find a balance at the moment, the
difference between our best and worst. We're still trying to
bridge that gap, and the quicker we can do that,
then the more games will be in and be able
to contest. So again, young team will learn and we'll
get We'll get better as quick as possible really, but yeah,

(01:31):
credit to the Doggies. They played really well and they
hurt us. Oh they are but they hurt us. Whenever
we sort of turned the ball over, they just went
wooshker and.

Speaker 6 (01:40):
They capitalize on it.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
Made you pay.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely and bally Dale off half back
just absolutely crucifiers with the ball.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Coach Andrew mcqualtera says this morning that you guys are
you know, a rush to improve? It would be quite
a rush, heck of a rush.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
So we want to get better pretty quick.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Yeah, I would say there's going to be some pretty
serious out of season Yeah, the pre season training.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Yeah, there will be pre season would pretty tough or
gearing up for it, which is great. Yeah, we need
to get better. Yeah, and I'm up for the fight
and I'm up to get better and help this football
club get to back or get back to where it
needs to be. So yeah, I'm excited by that. And
I think a lot of the younger players as well
are in the football club are excited. They're all hungry

(02:27):
and they all kind of want to get better. And
they want that sort of feeling of, you know, a
week in week out, being able to contest and be
within games of football. So yeah, the quicker we can
do that, then hopefully we can continue to make our
fans proud.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
You know, I've really felt for Adibaculsa because every week
he has to you know, he has to speak, and
he's got a you know, it's his first year in
doing this and he has to be diplomatic with.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
What he says.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
It must be exhausting for him with how he talks.
And he's been great.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
He's been fantastic. Yeah, he's been well inside and outside
I think. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Yeah, obviously he's never talked you down or anything like that.
He's the greatest of respect for everyone.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Yes, and he's been honest throughout the whole sort of journey,
which is that's all you can ask. So I think
was talking about this probably midway through the year where
he come off a quarter time and basically just slammed everyone. Yeah,
with that with that first quarter interview, I think it
was which was like okay, well, I think it was
like six or seven rounds and it was like, yes, okay.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Let's go break.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
He has patience.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
He's been fantastic and yeah, within inside the four walls
as well, he's been even better. So yeah, I think
for the journey that we're going on and what the
players need, he's certainly the right man for it.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
And of course that's really good.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Yeah, and I guess of course when he stepped up,
you know, to take over the team, you know, there
was a he could never have anticipated the amount of
injuries of certainly you know, experienced players. We're just taking
off the table from him.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Yeah, I don't think, yeah, yeah, he has. I don't
think he would have thought that we'd be in this
position and that you know, four or five of you've
seen your players that you probably rely on to be
able to help this younger group get through and manage
them throughout the game and be some of those on
field leaders as well, just not there, which is yeah,

(04:21):
it's turtless all right.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Well, Sydney at up to Stadium on Saturday, Bounced Down
is five thirty five. It's the last game of the
season for both teams. Is the plan just go for.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Broke pretty much? Yea, yeah, yeah, yeah, and Sydney the same,
the same. I think it could be a good game
of football to watch. Yeah, I think it's going to
be quite fun. So, yeah, go home.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
He might be moving the magnets around on the on
the board a little bit, just playing around.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Yeah, maybe we'll see. We'll see kind of what happens
throughout the way. We'll have our meeting today and then
Thursday as well with what it looked like against Sydney.
But yeah, I mean why not try different things there
we go?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
So absolutely, Now what can you tell us about this
Harley read contract extentsion?

Speaker 5 (05:08):
How did that get slip? Just tell us we sorts
of rumors?

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
It could be around for forty five years, sixteen billion
dollars I think is the last.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Yeah. Look, I mean there's there's a lot of there's
a lot of talk about it, isn't there in the
media landscape, and a lot of it is probably coming
from over east with what's going on and what's been
the top of you know. I mean it's a big
decision for a Yankee, like a big decision for a yoke.
Some of the stuff that you hear from that's coming

(05:41):
over east, now, whether it's factual or not, like that's
that's like, mate, you've got to sit down and think
about that stuff like there's it's it's hard to turn away,
like how.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
It's a bit hard, and I to the best way, Yeah,
the best way to describe it would be like if
over offered you a ridiculous amount of nut, like a
ridiculous amount of money, a ridiculous amount of money over
ninety six and.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
The chance to play Benson boone?

Speaker 3 (06:08):
So does Harley find it all? Skibberty?

Speaker 5 (06:11):
Or we were what are you going on?

Speaker 4 (06:14):
We were?

Speaker 3 (06:15):
We were talking earlier about all the new words that
are big added to the Cambridge Dictionary.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
This skibbity.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Yeah, yeah, the young kids, they can't keep up.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Skibberty is a word that can have different meanings, such
as it can mean cool or bad, or can be
used with no real meaning.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
Yeah what yeah?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (06:38):
Is there a generational so? Yeahs so the younger players,
you know, the first who is one of them? And
they will and they will, they will talk in that
kind of lingo and I'm like that you don't understand.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
I think you pick it up pretty quick. But when
they start talking like that, you're.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
Like, what, like I am really old?

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Think how we feel?

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, so don't use.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
It on the field because communication is key.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
We are Lulu to think that we are going to
be able to keep us Let's just excuse. Let's just
move on to Saturday's game. Good luck to the Eagles
for what nothing to lose.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Go for Broke, Go give Sydney.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Hell, do you know Sydney and West Coast have history
for being for putting on really good games, So let's
hope for one of those on Sunday night.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
We hope.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
Yeah, and we're in the end of it.
