We're hitting the greens today.

Speaker 2 (00:02):

Speaker 3 (00:03):
Someone snuck in a quick lesson with one of the
best golfers in the state yes yesterday.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Just to sort of I have a new favorite thing
about golf, do you Yeah, the thwack sound that the
driver makes when I was finally allowed to use the
driver yesterday because Jess knows I need to tee off today.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
So it's the sound afterwards that we don't enjoy as much.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
The thing about that is, none of my balls go
far enough to break else they have to break something
very very low to the ground because they don't go
very high. If I did that, I would be I'd
be doing probably better than I am.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
So you're saying that today at the Vines, I've got
a chance.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
You've got colas.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
You're not not without a show. There were some shots
yesterday where Jess and I thought, if I can just
hit it like that consistently tomorrow, it's at least I've partisim,
it'll be good, It'll be okay. You're not winning it.
I'm not, you know. It's it's not the you know,
the golf that's on it or Melbourne or whatever, just
the moment.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
It's just about pride. It's just about pride.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Really, it's just about a good day out, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Well, it's just a nice walk.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
It's a nice anyway. Barry is really.

Looking forward to Yeah, And I'm a bit worried because
I think he actually knows what he's doing.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
I think he does well good because I need some
help because you know what I don't know, and I
don't understand. There's so many clubs. How when do you
know which and why?

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I know what to put with, I know what to
tee off with. I know what to use in the bunker,
which I'll be in a few times today. But when
it comes to the other ones, you know for distance,
and that's where. But that's why we'll be asking Barry.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
The ones that look like little mini drivers, I don't
know what they're all about. So anyway, maybe Barre can
give us some some help today. I have been equipped
with many, many balls because.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
And they're all different colors, so that we know that
she just gave me three.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
My boy friend gave me two boxes. So yeah, he's confident.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
If you come back with three, I'll be happy, Like
three balls out of two boxes.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Everyone knows that it's it's a good day for the
ball hunters.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
One of the one of the hardest things is knowing
what to wear.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
There is so much, so many there's such an.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Etiquette in golfer regarding a tire. I've got about four
changes of clothes in the car because I'm not sure
what ones are going to.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Wear, so I don't have to go to the pro
shop first and get decked out.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Okay, have you got a glove?

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Barre's lending me a glove so that, yeah, I have.
I have had a whack out on the fairway probably
about six months ago.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Would be a nice day. Mines as gorgeous. It's going
to be good. We'll let you know how it goes.
