Lisa and I are embarking on learning something new. They
say that you're never too old to pick up something
new in life. I'm attempting to learn Spanish. Lisa is
learning to play golf and yesterday took part in her
very first tournament. Now I did manage to catch a
little of the broadcast of the Ambrose Masters at Royal Wembley.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
This is just this is just one of the many highlights.

They undertake cutting edge of search on a broad spectrum
of neurological conditions.

So hopefully yesterday we.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Raised some cash for them because they do great work.
Now I had the best day, and not only that,
I wasn't completely crap. I didn't think you would be
bit crap, but not entirely crap, which is really good.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
As you know, it was Ambrose.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
I sunk two of the putts.
Speaker 1 (01:43):

we have here in the office.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
You're not bad.
Speaker 3 (01:48):

ball maybe once or twice.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Dozens of balls that you do after one lesson, so.
Speaker 4 (02:02):

Speaker 2 (02:02):
There's more highlights. I won something, What do you win?
I won best dressed a kids. You know, I don't
even know what you had earlier training for. That was
it the checkered pants?
Speaker 3 (02:15):
I think it was my shoes, my almost pink shoes.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
That's what you're almost pink, your Jimmy too golf shoes exactly.
Speaker 3 (02:23):

She said, oh, I don't know if I want you
to do this tomorrow, it might you know, it might
sort of ruin any confidence that you might. I said, no,
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
I'm not that easily. It's overblown your confidence. But it was.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
It was awesome fun. Thank you to the Parent Institute
and Long Reach and everyone involved.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
I want to come back well and I will practice.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
In fact, you know, it really has spurt far from
what Jess was worried about that it might dent any
you know sort of confidence. It has definitely spurred me
on to actually want to be you know, practice and
become capable of actually taking part more you know, well
taking more part.
