Speaker 1 (00:00):
Guys had a bad day.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
You think you're having a bad day.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Check this out.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Authority as an Arkansas have arrested a college director among
two others on the accusation they kidnapped an eighteen year
old and threatened him so he'd break up with his girlfriend. Now,
the person that had the bad day is the kid
they tied into a chair and made him play Russian roulette.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Is Now that is a bad day that would stick
with you for a lifetime. They threatened scarring, They.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Threatened to kill his scarring.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
They threatened to kill his family if he didn't agree
to leave little Rock. So if you think your in
laws don't rate you, spare a thought for this guy.
At least they've never kidnapped and gone all the deer hunting.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
But those three people playing the playing the game with
this kid, I think they've got some bad days come
on their way. Well, yeah, how would you like to
have been on the jury for that?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
That might have been an easier case, definitely.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
So if you've had a worse if you think that
eighteen year old that's nothing, that's nothing. I had a
worst day on the weekend or a worst day last weekend.
We want to hear it, all those all those poor
blokes and that boat off down at Rockingham yesterday getting
circled by the shark, around and around.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Those people and they were in kayaks or whatever the
other week. Yeah, didn't that happen twice? Yeah, that happened twice,
and maybe that was a long time before I got
back in the water.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
So Sam in swan View, Hello, Good morning Sam.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Good morning guys.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
How are you guys?

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Well, we're doing okay, but what about you?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Worse than everyone else's.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Oh yeah, it's not good. My poor brand new car
is now in the shop getting fish.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
What did you do to it?

Speaker 4 (01:49):
It was actually my husband Okay, yeah, okay, yes, makes
me feel a little bit better. Yeah. So we're going
up to watch the we have a look at the
wildflowers lovely. Yes, yeah, we just spent just through three Springs.
No one on the broad at all. We're towing a
caravan by the way as well. Yes, and bang there

(02:11):
he was a big skip right in front of you.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Hit a room.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
You're going to get that up in three springs?

Speaker 1 (02:18):
To be fair, had a worse day.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
He really did.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Heaven, oh no he didn't.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
He didn't have bounce back from that one.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
So the big boy though, he was a huge one.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Hence your car up there. So you've had a bad day,
Your husband's had a bad day, the ruse had an
especially bad day, the insurance companies not having a good day,
the shops having a good day around Really, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
You're fixing it? Did you get to the wildflowers?

Speaker 5 (02:49):
We did?

Speaker 4 (02:49):
We kept going, so it was yeah, I think we
lost the aircom gas, but it wasn't hot to use
the air con. But yeah, we still kept going.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
There weren't things like dragging off the side of the
casting up on the road or anything like that. We're
going regardless.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Thanks, just sit on the side of the road, don't
you worry.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
It'll be good as new, not good as rube.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
But that's right, Thank you, Sam.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Sam.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
So you can text us like Nick did who had
spinal surgery a few weeks back. The catheter was put
in during surgery. It was just fine, but they decided
to take it out.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
A little too early.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
So next minute, one in the morning, the poor nurse
is having to put a new one in via torch light.
And to top it off, they had just taken the
ketamine away.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Now what why was she trying to put it in
via torch light.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Well, it's one thirty in the morning. You don't want
to wake the other patients.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Yeah, but it's a catheter, it's an emergency. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Sorry, I've been there. I've been there. I know what
it's like.

Speaker 6 (03:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Yeah, it's not pleasant. And that was in the middle
of the night too.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
You don't want to wake overhead lights on, I mean
all the lights on.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I mean there's enough waking other patients with the screaming
going on with the lights on as well.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
No one's getting any sleep in one anyway. Brad and hooking.
What have you got for it?

Speaker 6 (04:13):
Morning?

Speaker 7 (04:13):
Brad, Morning, guys. So I way call it.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
A bad day. Let's call it the character morning, the
character building up.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
That's the way to look at it.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
So this morning I get into the yard.

Speaker 7 (04:27):
I put road trains for a living. So I get
into the yard this morning at a quarter to five,
start loading up my truck to head off, turn my
fridge on.

Speaker 6 (04:37):
My fridge won't start, it keeps switching off.

Speaker 7 (04:40):
I'm thinking, all right, no problem, I'll just have to
get on my way and then swing past time and
get my own fruite and put it in my truck.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
So no problem.

Speaker 7 (04:48):
So do what I've got to do. Go to start
my truck. Stone Mather is dead, not an absolute. So
you moved a couple of vehicles not over going to click.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Don't go well so far.

Speaker 7 (05:03):
Down, hook the jump battery up, leave it for twenty
minutes nothing still nothing, So get out in the front
of my truck, drop my ball bar, left the bonnet,
go and get another vehicle, hook it up to the
jumpstart pack and some bright you know, it always takes
about an hour and a half, some bright spark walks

(05:24):
past me and goes problems mate.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
I'm just telling this for fun on a Monday morning.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
You know. My other favorite, my other favorite there brand
is when someone's broken down, you go, you can't park there.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
Anyway?

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Idea.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Okay, you jump starting a truck, which sounds in and
of itself quite an event.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
How are you back on the road?

Speaker 7 (05:49):
I am on the road now, Yees.

Speaker 6 (05:51):
Fridge work on Fredge works. It's all good, but a
lot of morning.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Character building and yeah, turning a negative into a positive
on yours Brad.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Catherine in Mondy, Hello, CA's you.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Good morning, Catherine, Hi, good morning.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Tell us about your bad day.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
Oh, well, it wasn't really my bad day, Okay. I'd
been into the hospital day surgery unit, and there was
a gentleman sitting across from me with one he'd had
one leg recently amputated, and he was chatting with his
mates who they worked somewhere together, and he was saying, oh,
you know, have you seen John I lately?

Speaker 8 (06:29):
And he said no, No, I said, did you hear
what happened to him?

Speaker 7 (06:33):
No?

Speaker 8 (06:34):
What happened? He said, Well, they were in the sharing
shed and something happened. Off came to fingers and dropped
through the floorboards as they all rushed out. As happened,
sometimes somebody rushed out while somebody called the ambulance to
retrieve the fingers incase they might be able to stitching back.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
On pretty nasty under a sharing shed. You know, would
you want to be back.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
On pretty smelling?

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Give it a go, smell out there.

Speaker 8 (07:04):
They raced down the ramp and out comes the big dog,
licking here.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
For breakfast. Well, I could always wait for it to
make its journey, and and they collect it, and it's
still brave enough to put it.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
On the finger that's gone when no finger has gone before.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
So one bloke with one leg amputated and another one
with a couple of fingers.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
The things you hear in the day surgery waiting room.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Yes, I mean I couldn't stop laughing.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
For a while.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
I think Catherine, I think Catherine. There's two people who
have had a worse day than last.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Yes, yes, only the dog came out the winner.

Speaker 7 (07:54):
