Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now you found this song which reminds me of some
of the neighbors that I've lived next to.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
As we've all had experience with neighbors, it's the way
it is. I even remember back as a kid, we
had a lady across the road that was affectionately called
drag Bag because she would come out and she would
yell at everybody draggy. Yeah, and she would start fights
and carry on. And she had a couple of sons
that would hoon up and down the street. But oh,
she picked on everybody, but the whole street affectionately called

(00:26):
her Draggy because she just would always be yelling and
screaming over the front fence. Anyway, I came across this
song yesterday which reminded me of that growing up, and
that everybody has had an experience with someone who just
gets a little hot under the collar.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
And these guys played at the trip at a couple
of weeks ago. Okay, so a bit of an alternative bang.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
I've had to edit it because they're called.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Play Lunch and they have written a song about their
angry neighbor.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
His name was Keith.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Well they didn't know what his name was, but they
called him Keith. Yeah, OK, have a listen.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Keith the angry neighbor. Here we go.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Shad about. He was our neighbor when we lived on.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Hopham Street, and though we never got his name, we
called him his house.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Was coming around and parked.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Out up so did we know we had just started
World War three? When you're talking change, We opened up
this space.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
What did he say, Mary?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
He said a few So he's tamarock with he's a
trailer couldn't fit into the space because their mates had
come over and parked out the front and was on
for Young and old with Keith six ft three, bald head,
full of tats at the door, angry rage and it
goes on and on, and it's actually very funny.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
It was all over the trailer.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
It was all over the fact he couldn't get his
and we rocking with the trailer on the back.

Speaker 1 (02:08):

the line. How are you, Chris? He's on the centenary
of highway heading in the Brisbane. Mate, what's your story?

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:15):
Years ago, being a bunch of mates, we're all trades
and we're living in a sharehouse in our neighbor. He's
the party of a night on. We all worked trading
hours early mornings and the knock off early and yeah,
this guy used the party to other night. We gave
him a few warnings, but a couple of us were
ex military and we're up there. As I said, all trade.

(02:37):
His property started busy.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
He stopped puttying after right, right, like the sound system.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
Take that wheels off his car?

Speaker 2 (02:52):
You mean business? Yes, he took it. He took on board.
He's like, get the message. Guys. We've all had it.
We've all had a neighbor that it just does stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
I've done him and Todd with a next door had
the other neighbor come and try and break it up.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Oh my gosh, it happens. It happens.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
And that was all over. Wheely been that Anonymous on
the line, Anonymous, have you had issues with with your
neighbor angry neighbor?

Speaker 3 (03:19):

What happened?

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yes, I had a young hiper and a times she
jumped out of my paddock into my next door neighbors
and he got extremely naughty in his messages towards me,
and he was very mad. So it's seen then ongoing
thing for thirty five years.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Now, what's still going on?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Oh way, Yeah, she caused a lot of trouble and
eventually we got her back onto the property and we
shot her because we couldn't stop her going next door.
And he was getting real chainment.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
In thirty five years, so he's still going on about
it even though it's not happening.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Oh, he still calls me nasty names and everything.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Wow. Wow, that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Geez. Someone needs a bit of healing and letting go.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Thirty five years. Yeah, you wouldn't want to live next
to a neighbor.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
That mong no.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
I even said, come on with neighbors, let's get along.
You know, we boys get out.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
And you did deal with the issue clearly, and he's
still going on about it.
