Speaker 1 (00:00):
There's a new survey out about dreams money, and we
(00:02):
have dream expert janees Are Anderson with us this morning.
Good morning, Jane, how are you?
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Good morning? Thank you, I'm very well.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
How are you great?
Speaker 4 (00:09):
Thanks?
Speaker 1 (00:09):
What's the survey money?
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Well, the survey is basically all about the most common
dreams that people have, and Jane to trees and well,
this is your field, and I'm sure you would agree
that the top five they've come up with is falling
is one of the most common dreams. Do you hear that?
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yes, yes, totally yep.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Also unable to run, cheating po oh, yes, people passing,
people dying, and your teeth falling out.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Oh yes, very very very common scene dreams, although when
people have these dreams the actual details on their individual
storylines are different, but those are some of the main scenes.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Yes, I agree, it's a bit more about having your
teeth falling out. What would that mean?
Speaker 3 (00:49):
That is very common? Isn't that I've dreamed that before?
Speaker 2 (00:52):
It's the meaning is always quite individual. So the way
that I usually say to the person is, Okay, your
teeth for falling out in the dream, how do you
feel about that? And some people might say, oh, I
just felt this terrible sense of loss, you know, I'd
never be able to put them back. And that dream
is often looking at some feeling of loss that they've
got in life, and another person just becaves. One more
(01:14):
example might say, well, I was trying to give this
speech and my teeth are falling out. I just couldn't
say what I wanted to say, And their dream may
be about exactly that, right, Or.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
They could have fallen asleep with their benches in and
they just fell out during their sleep.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
It used to be thought that the teath falling out
dream was some people that ground their teeth while they slept,
but that since been proven not to be true.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Right, Well, we've got plenty of calls coming through this morning.
Michael's in Darrega. Mike, Mate, what's your question?
Speaker 4 (01:42):
My question is, when I sleep, even if I don't
have the alarm on, I'll have a dream that I
can't turn my alarm off and it just keeps going
and going.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
What's that mean, Jane?
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Oh my goodness, Michael. I assuming that you're feeling is
great frustration?
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Okay, something he might miss something.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Going on. Yes, that's that's one possible explanation our dreams
are always processing our experiences of the last couple of days,
consciously and unconsciously. So my selling Michael is that your
dream probably is about always being on edge or it's
been ready to get and do something, you know, being
on total alert all the time, and wishing that you
could turn that sense of alert off. And I feel
(02:24):
that's what the dream is about. I wish I could.
I wish I could just relax and let go. I
probably would describe me probably a little bit.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Thank you, thanks for the help there. Thank you, Michael.
Donna's in Murphy's Creek. What's your recurring dream?
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Why is crashing around me?
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Right?
Speaker 1 (02:41):
What would that mean?
Speaker 4 (02:42):
Jane?
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Planes crushing around you? I probably don't need to ask
how you felt about that, Donna? Scary? It was scary. Yeah,
it was like it was really close and it's just
come out of here, and and then you go over
and help everyone. It's really bizarre. Okay, So it sounds
(03:03):
very simplistic, but probably quite accurately. This comes up when
you are motivated to go and help other people. You
want to help other people, but things just never quite
work out, you know. This kind of plane clashing dream
can also mean that you feel that things are crashing
around you. You know, sometimes people have great ideas or
great plans about life, and no matter what they do
(03:25):
to try to put them in action, they just crash.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Right.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
It can also the final one possibly mean that you're
just getting a bit burnt out and exhausted, probably from
helping people. It's like, I'm just crashed, I'm burnt out undone.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Well, Jane, Theresa Donna is actually an ambulance officer.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Yeah, that's it. Well, it's very accurate.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Yeah, yeah, really explains why you said the dream is
very close to home, Donna. So it's close to home
with your work because you're in that helping situation every
single day.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Yeah, all right, Well more Mel, Mel, what's your occurrent
rink about money?
Speaker 4 (04:01):
I'm always dream of winning big lots of money, and
I mean big lots to help everybody out with my
help people, family and everybody out with big lots of money.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
I'm thinking the secret sound Jina, what have you got?
Speaker 2 (04:16):
I'd like to know Mel, whether you feel pleased about
this is a dream or if there's any aspects says
my god, what am I going to do with all
this money?
Speaker 4 (04:23):
How do you feel in the dream, they give a
lot of money, a way to help charities and my
family and other people outside. Okay, yeah, so.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
The dream wouldn't be about actually winning real money, like
don't go and blast all your money on lotto or anything.
But it's about winning something, feeling that you've got something wonderful,
a gift to give not only to other people. But
sometimes dreams can take that twist and they mean giving
these things to ourselves. So again your first thought and
your dream is how can I help other people? And
(04:55):
that is really wonderful and really worthy. But also sometimes
we have remember to help ourselves. You know the old
thing about through in the plane oxygen mask on you
first before other people. So this dream can be about
looking around in your own life and seeing, okay, whether
or not you've got money, what else have I got?
But it's really valuable that I can use not only
(05:15):
to help other people, but to help myself.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Yeah. Well, thanks Mel, thanks for the question. There you go,
Jane right on it, which.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Is awesome, and that is meil too. He does help
a lot of people. Now, I have all of Jane's books,
and I have had them for many years. You are
so accurate and your website Jane Theresa dot com and
as you said, you've got podcasts now, all sorts of things, Jane,
So it's always wonderful to chat to you, and I
love how you decipher things.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Thank you money, thank you Campo, thank you for having
me on
