Speaker 1 (00:00):
A fresh take on weddings selling tickets to complete strangers money.
There's a there's an article on our Facebook page you
can go and check out because it's about a new app.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
It is well. French couples can now offer a limited
number of wedding tickets for sale to strangers. So interested
guests can apply via an app called invite In, and
a couple then review the profiles and select who to invite.
I know. So the stranger guests must follow rules though

(00:30):
they must dress neatly, arrive on time, drink sensibly, get
permission before sharing photos. While they're welcome to mingle, couples
aren't obliged to interact with them directly. After all, weddings
have their own natural social flow. But Jennifer, who's forty eight,
and Paulio fifty, are doing this. They're getting married later

(00:51):
in the month at a country manor east of Paris,
inviting around ninety five friends and family and five paying strangers.
Wow okay through this app, so guests will enjoy the
full experience of the ceremony with drinks and live music,
sit down dinner and dancing. Jennifer says, well, the extra
cash only covers a small slice of the total costs.
It's also because we thought it would be fun. We're

(01:11):
extroverts and we're open to sharing all things. So one
of the attendees, her name is Lauren, she's twenty nine.
She said, well, I'm basically saying, well, why do you
want to go? And Lauren said, well, I don't have
a big family and I don't get to lots of weddings,
so it's a great experience a wedding, different traditions and
meeting strangers like why would you not? As someone said,
you know, it's almost like when you pay to go

(01:33):
out for I don't know, a ball or a dinner
or a social function. You're paying to go to someone's
wedding and meet new people and I don't know, get
to watch nuptibals that you might not always get to go.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Well, there's always strangers of the wedding.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
You only even know half the half the audience there, Marty,
it was exactly My wife invited people I've never even met.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Well, that's where I guess there's certain family members that
will come along that you've not had the opportunity.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Sure, I'm just looking at the ticket prices to these
weddings ranging from two hundred and eight dollars to three
hundred and twelve dollars. Summers High its eight hundred and
thirty two dollars. He is going to pay that? Breat's
in plain Lands? Hey Bread, how you go?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Mate?

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Good?

Speaker 1 (02:08):
More on? Yeah, I reckon?

Speaker 2 (02:09):
I give it a game.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Depends on the drink package and the middle package and
candy package. Very true, win win three hour drink package.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
You're going to a wedding you could need anybody?

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Pretty much? Yeah, well it would be as absolutely because
it's the drink package and food. Where is it?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Like?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
What's the scene? How many good Insta photos can I guess?

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Who can you pick up?

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Well? That's it.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, there's no other ladies there that are clicking and
clean or plenty whatever the world is?

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Oh stop that? Wats you out for that bouquet being thrown? Mate?
Rob's in Plinland as well, Hey Rob? How you go? Mate?
What about you?

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Would you go to a would you pay to go
to some stranger's wedding? Or would you invite people to
your wedding that are strangers and make them pay?

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I wouldn't pay to go to someone's wedding that I like,
let alone someone I don't even know.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Very true, Yeah, very true. Marriage in Jim boom Mary
here are you going?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Well?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Good morning?

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Are you sure? Why not?

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Okay, you go to the wacky world we're living in
at the moment. Yeah, someone's I get what you're saying.
If someone's looking and wanting to be a part of
someone else's family and get that experience, why not. And
if you're going to put it out there and people
want to come and help me pay with your wedding.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Absolutely I get what this Lauren was saying though, Like
she doesn't have a big family, so she doesn't have
the chance to actually go along and experience a wedding.
So this way she can buy her way in and
just have a good time and go. But you know what, guys,
I wish they would have had this thirty one years ago.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Because when I got married back in the nineties, you know,
the lovely.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Uture mother in law brought along all her friends.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Are these people?

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yeah, it does. Does it happen?

Speaker 3 (04:01):
People?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I know it does happen. So what have you had?
How many people there that you didn't know.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
At my wedding? Oh? God, at least at least six.
I'm just going around saying hello, goinghead.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Hell are you?

Speaker 3 (04:15):
You're looking at the photos? Later?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Who's that?

Speaker 3 (04:20):
I love it?

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Check got check out the article I think look Horses
for Courses.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
If you want to pay and go, well then yeah, good,
good for you.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Inviting it's inviting.
