Now, we saw that you dropped a new video about
your walk through Rosewood, which is just fantastic. You went
to the Tallagala Cemetery and is James Bond from Tallagala.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
The reason why I've come here is because this is
the final resting place of one Sidney Cotton, supposedly the
inspiration Freean Fleming's James Bond.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Right, tell us all about that?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Hmm. Interesting?

Speaker 5 (00:42):
It was an incredible friend, something I had no idea about.
There's a number of people who claim to who James
Bond really was that it does seem to be that
Fleming was most enamored with Cotton. He lived at Granchester
for a while, was cremated and ended up at Talladella
Rosewood of all places. But he has family connections in

the wider area and you've got to end up somewhere.

Yeah, it's an amazing video. So what's so great about Rosewood?
Why should people go and check out your video.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
I think that Rosewood and the video are both fantastic.
They're fascinating. They're right on our doorstep, but we know
so little about it, and it's one of those places
where you just dig a little bit and then all
these other stories start on tolling. And it's a beautiful
area too, just to drive around there here the countryside. Marvelous.

Marney spends a lot of time in Rosewood.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Well, yes, I have done, yes, so I do. I
do know the township, and it is quaint. I'm sure
the locals have a lot of different and different takes
on stories. But yeah, mate, I didn't know that. I
did not know that, so I'll have to go and
check it out. Did you actually find because I haven't
got through the whole video yet, did you actually find
the grave?

Speaker 5 (01:48):
I did indeed. Yeah, there's a little family plot there
and yeah he's right there. Yeah he's just see him
sewn on the lower end of the cemetery.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
That is very interesting. Locals would be loving that too,
be the talk of the town.

Speaker 5 (01:59):
I hope so, because they're the ones who really it
matters to I'm just a visitor. As long as they're
happy I'm happy.

And what's the best thing about Rosewood?

Speaker 5 (02:06):
The best thing about Rosewood is the Rosewood Hotel. Terrific
food and a wonderful Caesar salad.
