Mind now before we get into the amazing tribute from
Kiss to Ace Freely. Money and I actually did catch
up with Ace Freelly before he passed. It was wonderful
to have a bit of a chat with him, and
he was talking about what Kiss was like and being
a family. He's part of that interview. Hello, Space Ice.

I'm very happy to be on the show. I'm sitting
in my studio in southern California.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
What do you got?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
What do you got from me?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Well, you say Kiss was like a family.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
At one point in time, we were one of the
biggest fans in the world internationally, so it was kind
of like writing a roller coaster, you know. It was
one continuous party and constantly touring or if not touring,
we'd be recording and it was pretty crazy, but a

lot of fun and a lot of fun. Memory.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yeah, over the years, have you kept in touch and
what's that been?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
A week ago, I called Paul on the phone and
you know, we spoke for twenty minutes about everything under
the sun, talked about the weather, California fires, as you
do when you're catching up with a mate. That's right,
I couldn't get him off the phone.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Actually, well, Kiss has paid an emotional tribute to the
late guitar stays Freely during their first show since it
is passing. Paul Stanley, who was just mentioned in our interview,
told the Las Vegas crowd they wanted to honor someone
who was at the foundation of this band, acknowledging their
past differences, but calling Ace family. And here's part of
that tribute.

Before we get going, and we don't have an awesome
time before we get going. We just wanted to take
a moment to think about somebody who is at the
foundation of this dam and we're talking about Ace, So

you know, we certainly had differences, but that's what family
is about. And why don't we take a moment a
little quiet think about him looking down on us from
