Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yesterday, MARNI.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Get a manager active work showing up my baby in
the active wear.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
I was talking about active wear, huh, because this went viral,
a TikToker from Townsville of all places.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Okay, she had.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
This those women that wear the active wear really short
short shorts.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
I'm all for it. I think it's great.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
You know, you're confident, you've got a great figure and
all that.

Speaker 5 (00:27):
Sort of your active wear. But do you realize that
when you walk we can actually see the shadow your fadge?
What's the matter with you?

Speaker 4 (00:37):
And don't come?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
That means how I wanted you look? Could you not look?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Were right there? You walking towards me? So she's divided
the internet. Okay, and now you're back today.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I really wanted your opinion on the active wear because
Dave Cullen, he sent me a message. Yes, say good morning, Dave.
How are you going here?

Speaker 4 (00:54):
You go here?

Speaker 1 (00:55):
You're going right now?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Dave.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
You mentioned that you know you you have these these
conversations because you've got four girls and girls and.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
You know you don't like.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
What you see the conversation.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
How do you?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:09):
And my problem was that one of my girls loved
active where and was young and was wearing that sort
of stuff with and she was doing around home, but
she would quite happily walk up to the shops or
go to the shops. And my question was, how to
number one me, as a father, talk to her. And

(01:31):
then I spoke to Rebecca and I said, we've got
to talk to her. Surely there's something you can do
about that, because ultimately timemate.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
It's true, I get it, and I.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Want them to be able to wear whatever they want.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
And oh, he's dropped out, he's dropped.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Yeah, on the same token, we've got to look at
how do we deal with this because yeah, I didn't know, no, no.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I get to man, I've got a seventeen year old
who wear certain sorts of clothing. Marnie and I sometimes
will hang on what do I say here exactly?

Speaker 5 (02:12):
And I do understand that as from a parent point
of view, with your kids, like you are trying to
teach them the way of the world, you know, and
that is that is difficult, very much. So I'm yet
to go through that with my girls exactly.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
The world's changed for us too.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Well.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
That reminds me of the movie where the Men.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
You have seen that with Nicholas Cage and Michael Kane,
and he was a great scene from it.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Have listened an issue concerning Shelley, Well, you can talk
to me. I'm a parent too, So what.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Shelley dresses in clothing not appropriate for her clinging stuff?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
All kids were, Dad, it's a different generation. They call
her a cameltoe.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, I get that's what that's the word for it.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Okay, I get it. Is that what you're thinking, Dave? Mate?

Speaker 4 (03:01):
I am. I think I had more conversations with other
people about this, including like you guys back when it
first happened, when they were younger, and it was just like,
how do we deal with this as a parent?

Speaker 5 (03:13):
Yeah, well it's it's not easy. I think it is
a very awkward conversation. But highlighting those things and the
reasons why, I think, you know, down the track they
will probably thank you for that, for sort of pointing
it out as they get a bit older and understand
some of those things.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
We've got a lot of calls coming through. Actually money
Heidi's into Gula. What's your opinion, Heidi?

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Well, I figure it's a woman's body and if they're
going to show their camel tooe, then so be it
fair enough. Life goes on.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
I get on. My only thing on this whole thing
is but what do you do? It's a bit like
you guys, like you've got what you've got?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
What do you do with it?

Speaker 5 (03:50):
There's not it's.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
There, right, we all know you can't help. But look,
well it's the same.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I think. Oh look I had one like that yesterday
and I didn't know how to take it.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I saw that and it was just it was just wrong.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Yeah, but I understood that's life, that life goes on,
it does. What can you do?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
You can't. You shouldn't judge a person's body.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Well, thank you, thank you for your opinion. You're right,
no problem. Helen's in Marcovat. What's your opinion?

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Oh, don't even get me started. I sorry, I don't.
I don't like camel show at all. It just looks wrong.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
So if you're if you see someone in their active
wear or whatever it is that they're wearing, and you
can visibly see what's going on, yeah, I mean it
makes you really uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
It doesn't. I don't feel uncomfortable. I just don't think
it looks good. I don't. It's not a good look,
but it doesn't make me feel uncomfortable. I just think, oh,
you idiot, why didn't you look in the mirror or
did you want to look like that?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Some people and look some people do I guess.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
But there is and I have noticed there is a
brand active wear out at the moment, Campo, which basically
makes that area invisible. It doesn't actually yes, showcase it.
It's still quite you know, type fantastic. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
I would buy that.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Yeah, oh look, I would too. I just don't think
you need to. But that's my personal choice. I'm not
going to.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Mean yeah unless they think they need to advertise.

Speaker 5 (05:20):
Well true, but then listen on timu. There's things that
you can put in there to actually make it look
bigger than what it is really. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Men, I get it, but not women. Okay, well, thank you, Helen.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
No worries at all. You have a great day.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
I'm not sure that helps you, Dave.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
But else well no, maybe just hey, girls, there are
other well there are not.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
I saw this just the other day and I thought
that what a fabulous thing, because look, as I said,
you do you if you're old enough, and it's very
difficult with kids that's a whole different conversation if you
feel comfortable in that fair enough, I would think that
most people do not want to showcase that area unless
they have to be like you guys wearing your bike cats.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
I don't even think it's necessarily about them showcasing it.
I think a lot of the kids don't realize they're
young and naive, but they see it smashed into their
face on TV about active were so it's still it's
just they're unaware of the of of men or whatever else.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
And I can start wearing our bike pants if you
want to campaign, Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
You can go and have coffee after the CHA.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
We might look, we promise.
